Cai Feng's Poems

A phoenix

This sentence is taken from one of two untitled poems by Li Shangyin in Tang Dynasty, which describes the poet's frustration when he was a secretary and had dinner with his beloved woman for one night. These two sentences are the antithesis of this poem, expressing the feeling when the soul is blocked. The last sentence is about the suffering of lovesickness. Because the person I love can only dream, I hate flying to her without Cai Feng's wings. "Cai Feng", a phoenix with colorful feathers. Compared with Cai Feng, she obviously has deep feelings for Phoenix. The poem says that the poet wants to be with his beloved fly and me, but he hates his different status. "If you want to fly safely," you can only expect to miss him.
