At the invitation of Mr. Zhang Liao, the host of Yuexiang Salon in the living room of Fan Deng Bookstore, I listened to an interview with Mr. Meng Man in Fandeng Reading Club APP with his new book Poems of the Four Seasons. As a person with deep feelings for China's ancient poetry culture, I enjoyed it after listening to it. So I wrote down some of my feelings and shared them with you here.

Ancient poetry is a very literary thing, and a good ancient poem can easily trigger our profound classical feelings and subtle aesthetic preferences.
In the living room of Fan Deng, Meng Man talked with Kan Kan, the book Selected Poems of Four Seasons in Kan Kan, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Meng Man sometimes quotes poems and sometimes laughs at the present. Fan Deng is very modest and seldom talks. When it comes to happiness, they even hum Huang Yaoming's Cantonese song "Four Seasons Song". Poetic communication can infect people most. When we hold a poetic heart, we read the four seasons with our ears and hearts.
In these 32 poems of the Four Seasons, we can touch some details full of texture in the life of the ancients. In the cycle of spring, summer, autumn and winter, we can feel the same scenery of the four seasons as the ancients, from "I see orioles flying in the spring, and the sunlight reflects the green water plants" and "Luofu, picking mulberry leaves by the water" to "the wind sends me lotus fragrance, and the bamboo leaves drop dewdrops" and "taking the mountain as the table and the lake as the wine source, making people sit on the island intoxicating". From the autumn in Chang 'an, when ten thousand hammers beat on the ground, to the winter, when the Mount Zhongnan takes off, with its white head floating over the clouds, and then to "a boat with a bamboo coat and an old man fishing in the cold snow", although the poet has passed away on the wings of light, we can still meet the poet in this corner of the poem line through poetry. When we are moved by these poems, we are actually meeting poets happily with our eyes and our souls are trembling.
In these poems, the group images of poets' temperament are vaguely outlined ... For example, among the top poets in the Tang Dynasty, Li Bai, who is naive and highly confident, Du Fu, who is worried about the country and the people, and Wang Wei, Shi Fo, who is naturally Zen and ethereal, are obvious in their poems; Liu Zongyuan and Qu Yuan in exile in southern Hunan are as lonely and persistent as his companion Liu Yuxi, but Liu Yuxi in the same situation is a different style of painting. He smiled fearlessly, like a fighter. Liu Yuxi, "Once Liu Lang came again", reflected the power of his laughter ... When Liu Zihou finally came out of extinction and wrote "Then, at sunrise, he walked through the fog, leaving only the creak of his oars in the green of mountains and rivers", we, as well as some poets, were not famous, but they also left behind eternal poems. What's more, they are not only poets, but also giants in reality, such as Jie Yuan, a state official who resisted taxes for the people and enjoyed them. For example, Guo, who wrote an invincible provocative poem, "Bamboo leaves rot in water, and Lang rot in the heart", turned out to be an invincible general, who frightened Tubo in Lingyange. This is simply making people. Poets' poetic nature is a kind of spirituality of the soul, and the strange mixture of poetic temperament has caused their different personalities and extraordinary lives. If you read it carefully, you can see it outside the poem, but it really takes effort, and it is really an effort.
When we enter the world of ancient poetry, our mood will suddenly become lively, elegant and senile. Because these ancient quatrains, people's favorite pages and characters have continuously conveyed the calcium of honesty to the spirit of China people for thousands of years, and at the same time, because of the essence of classical culture from generation to generation, they are deeply branded with China's aesthetics ... So reading is not only a spiritual massage, but also can shape our mood and character. In the spring flowers, autumn moon, summer rain and winter snow, there are landscapes, jade pots and ice hearts, lovers and vanilla beauties.
The poems of the four seasons let us discover the beauty of the four seasons. Meng Man said that Tang poetry and Song poetry are two peaks in ancient poetry. Tang poetry is lively and Song poetry is rational. From these two peaks, we can re-examine our present situation. We have to go all the way, and the road ahead needs light to illuminate ... Meng Nan mentioned two metaphors, one is a street lamp and the other is the moon. Street lamps are rooted in our community. They are the flavor of modern civilization. Although practical, it lacks aesthetic feeling. The moon is high in the sky, far away from us. But it shines on our road ahead, shines on our distance, and radiates poetic light, which is always worth our standing on tiptoe in the spiritual world.
When reading the poems of the four seasons, when reading the four seasons, such a clear and long moon will rise in our hearts, which is the poetic light in our hearts.
