Reflections on Wang Lun's poems and my brothers' holiday in the mountains in Shandong's poems

To Wang Lun _ Li Bai

Li Bai was just about to leave when he heard a farewell song from the shore.

Even if the Peach Blossom Pond is deep, it is not as deep as Wang Lun's sending away my love.

Vacation in the mountains reminds me of my brothers in Shandong? Wang Wei?

I am a lonely stranger in a strange land, and I miss my family more often during the holidays.

When I think of my brothers' bodies climbing high, I will feel a little regret for not being able to reach me.

The famous sentence in the poem "I miss my Shandong brothers during my holiday in the mountains" is: I miss my family more often when I am in a foreign land.

In his poem To Wang Lun, Li Bai used the Peach Blossom Pond to reach thousands of feet, not as good as Wang Lun. To express the deep friendship between him and Wang Lun.

Wang Lun: Li Bai's friend. When Li Bai visited Taohuatan in Qiongxian County (now Anhui Province), Wang Lun from nearby Jia Cun often entertained Li Bai with his own wine, and they formed a deep friendship.

Collected Notes of Li Bai, 300 Poems of Tang Poetry and Complete Poems of Tang Poetry published in past dynasties all recognized that Wang Lun was an ordinary villager that Li Bai met when he visited Jingxian County.

This view continues to this day. Wang Guangze, an Anhui scholar, studied Wang's genealogy, Wang Zongpu and Wang Xujing County Branch successively, and learned that "Wang Lun, also known as a famous scholar in the Tang Dynasty", made friends with Li Bai, Wang Wei and others, and often exchanged poems. During the reign of Kaiyuan Tianbao, Wang Lun was the magistrate of Jingxian County.

Li Bai's "Wait, I can't bear to say goodbye" (see Li Zilong's "About Wang Lun" in the second series of Li Bai's Diary for details). According to this poem or when visiting for Li Bai, Wang Lun lived in Taohuatan. Li Bai went from Guangling and Jinling to Xuancheng in 754 AD (the 13th year of Tianbao), so this poem should not be earlier than before.
