Spring outing, also known as spring outing, generally refers to walking in the suburbs in early spring. In ancient times, Tomb-Sweeping Day was used as an outing festival. However, the dates of outing festivals vary from place to place. From the eighth day of the first month to the second day of February or the third day of March, most of them travel in Tomb-Sweeping Day.
Go for an outing, also called tanchun or tanchun, means to go to the countryside to play in spring. The custom of outing has a long history in China. Li Nao once recorded in the Chronicle of the Middle Qin Dynasty that on the third day of the third lunar month, everyone drank in the river and trampled on the grass, which was called an outing. In his poems, Du Fu also recorded the magnificent spring outing of members of the royal family. On March 3, the weather was new, and many beautiful women took a walk in Chang 'an seaside. Folklore always pays attention to hiking. Whenever the grass and green water are clear, people will take off their long cloth shirts and walk out of the quadrangle. They will go to the countryside in small groups and enjoy the scenery in the mountains, and the desolation of a winter will suddenly disappear.
