Shu. Poetry before the Tang Dynasty, except for the so-called "Qi Liang Style", is called ancient style. Poetry after the Tang Dynasty is also called archaism.
There are differences between ancient style and modern style in syntax, rhyme and level tone;
Syntax: There are four, five, six, seven and even miscellaneous words (irregular sentences) in the ancient style, and the number of sentences in each song is uncertain, ranging from two to dozens to hundreds. The latest style is only five words.
There are two kinds of seven words: eight words in metrical poems, four words in quatrains and more than eight words in rhyme.
Rhyme: each song in ancient style can use one rhyme, or two or more rhymes, and it is allowed to change rhymes; Each song in modern style can only use one rhyme, and even the arrangement of dozens of sentences can't be changed. Antique can be used in even sentences.
Rhyme, even sentences can rhyme. The near aspect rhymes only in even sentences, except for the first sentence, which can be bet or not (it rhymes with a flat tail and does not rhyme with a silent tail. Five words don't gamble, seven words gamble), and the rest.
None of the odd sentences rhyme; Antique can rhyme smoothly; Generally, only flat rhyme is used in the near body.
Pingyi: The biggest difference between ancient style and modern style is that ancient style pays attention to Pingyi while modern style pays attention to Pingyi. After the Tang dynasty, the ancient style also paid attention to the flatness, but it was irregular and could be ignored.
