2. Former site of Gutian Conference:
The site of Gutian Conference was originally Liao Jia Ancestral Temple, which was built in the late Qing Dynasty. After the Republic of China, it was the former site of Hesheng Primary School. It is a group of brick-wood buildings, consisting of front and rear halls and left and right wing rooms. Outside the ancestral hall, there is a well on the left and a Red Army reviewing platform on the right, with cypresses towering behind. The back hall of the venue used to be the senior class of the school, and the Gutian Conference was held here. Now, the rostrum seats, the emblem, the statues and representatives of party flag, Marx and Lenin have all been restored. There was Mao Zedong's office during the left-wing meeting. There is also a conference exhibition hall near the venue.
3. The content and significance of Gutian Conference:
192912 on 28th and 29th, the ninth congress of the fourth army of China * * * production party was held here. The meeting was presided over by Mao Zedong, Zhu De and Chen Yi, leaders of the former enemy committee of the Gongsi Army, and more than 20 party representatives, fighters, local party organizations and women representatives of the Gongsi Army. Meeting according to1September 28, 929, the central Committee of China to the Red Fourth Front Army's former enemy committee spirit, summed up the experience of building the Red Army since the Nanchang Uprising, criticized all kinds of non-proletarian ideas, and persisted in building the party and the people's army with proletarian ideas. The meeting unanimously adopted the Resolution of the Ninth Congress of the Fourth Army of the Chinese Red Army (also known as Gutian Conference Resolution) drafted by Comrade Mao Zedong, and elected a new former enemy committee with Mao Zedong as the secretary of the front committee. Gutian Conference summed up the rich experience of the Chinese Red Army for more than two years, laid the foundation of our army's political work, and made our army draw a clear line with all the old-style troops and become a new people's army.
