Jia Sheng and Li Shangyin
The propaganda office asked for virtuous people to visit officials, and
Jia Sheng's talent was even more incoherent.
poor midnight empty front seats,
don't ask the common people, ask ghosts and gods.
The person mentioned in the poem is Jia Sheng, that is, Jia Yi.
Jia Yi (2 years ago-168 years ago), a native of Luoyang (now east of Luoyang, Henan Province), was a famous political commentator and writer in the early Western Han Dynasty, and was known as Jia Sheng in the world. Jia Yi was a rare talent. At the age of eighteen, he was known as a good writer in the county. Wendi was a doctor at that time, moved to Taizhong Doctor, and was excluded by zhou bo and Guan Ying, ministers, and was promoted to be a teacher of Changsha King, so later generations also called Jia Changsha and Jia Taifu. Three years later, he was recalled to Chang 'an as a teacher of King Huai of Liang. Liang Huaiwang fell off a horse and died. Jia Yishen felt sorry for himself and died of depression at the age of 33. Sima Qian sympathized with both Qu Yuan and Jia Yi, and wrote a joint biography for them, so later generations often referred to Jia Yi and Qu Yuan as "Qu Jia".
Jia Yi's works mainly include prose and ci fu, which are deeply influenced by Zhuangzi and Liezi. The main literary achievements of prose are political essays, commenting on current politics, with simple style and lively discussion. Lu Xun called it "Hongwen in the Western Han Dynasty", and his representative works include "On Qin Dynasty", "On Accumulation and Storage" and "Chen Zheng Shi Shu". His ci and fu are all in Sao style, and their forms tend to be scattered, which is the forerunner of the development of Han fu, especially the ode to Qu Yuan and the ode to the bird.
