During the trip to the south of the Yangtze River, various ancient buildings and cultures brought us different kinds of enjoyment, especially various styles of couplets, which made me copy all the way. I have difficulties in calligraphy and ancient Chinese characters, and all our colleagues will read, speculate and connect a couplet together. This process, let us taste the rich fragrance of a long-simmering pure China culture.
In the Qingfeng Garden built in Hefei to commemorate Bao Gong, a couplet of "The breeze is clear and the moon is bright" reminds people of Bao Qingtian who is upright and selfless.
There is also a pair of "say hello to what tourists have seen and heard, and the heart of missing is neither high nor deep." It seems to say, who do you want, who do you admire, who do you want to hear and who do you want to see, everything is up to your heart.
In "Listening to the Rain", "A cup of green tea is slowly diluted, and the history of future generations is carefully evaluated". What history has gone through is all jokes and thoughts left to people.
Romantic pavilions are eternal articles. Such sentences are unforgettable, atmospheric and clear.
In Li Hongzhang's former residence, there is a couplet inscribed by Li Hongzhang himself, which all our colleagues can read word for word: "The sea is really tolerant, and the moon is not always round."
In front of a gate house in Nanjing Confucius Temple, a couplet condensed the artistic conception of the beautiful scenery of Qinhuai in ancient and modern times: "When the sun is near Qinhuai, the light and shadow paddle ten miles, and the sky is even Wu Chu, where the mountains and rivers are beautiful?"
There is also a picture that shows the prosperity and excitement of the ancient Qinhuai: "Shili Qinhuai is a collection of five-state rhyme scholars, and the Six Dynasties have loved aluminum rust for thousands of years."
In front of the archway of "The World's Wenshu", the couplet tells us that it was once the gathering place of ancient China literati: "In a long poem, the mountains and rivers show the sun and the moon, and the humanities gather in the spring and autumn." "The tenth generation is famous for the blending of ancient and modern cultures, and the three or five resorts gather talents from the north and the south."
In Hanshan Temple, which is full of tourists, couplets there are another dust-removing ceremony of Buddhism. The couplets on both sides of Maitreya Buddha at the entrance make people feel kind and tolerant: "A big belly and a round belly can accommodate the world, and they are full of joy to welcome people in the world."
"For more than a thousand years, the Buddhist land has been Yanhanshan Temple outside Gusu City, and people's hearts are alert to the sound of floating tides in the middle of the night." This couplet seems to let me hear the tide bells thousands of years ago.
"Hehe" Erxian Hall: "There is a cold mountain on the seat, and the bell still knocks on the Buddha's soil. There is no need to lock the Zen gate with the moon shadow in court. " Buddha's edge is in the heart, and if there is Buddha in the heart, there will be no distractions.
"The bell announces the eyes, and the moonlight shines on the Zen mind". I like such vivid and straightforward sentences, which make people shine.
At the entrance of "Tiger Hill", the words "The tower shadow meets the house in the wave mountain, and the painter whispers the sound of flowers in the city" remind people of the feeling that people walk in the painting and draw into their eyes.
In a bamboo yard in the mountains, there is an original painting by Tang Bohu: "Huangfei is very romantic here, Cuiling, and Qingxi Baishi asked when to take a pillow of smoke."
"Sweet-scented osmanthus adds dew, and the rain and dew are suitable for mountains." Such a sentence is intoxicating and refreshing!
In Suzhou pedestrian street, there is a hotel couplet that people will never forget, and it is a bit straightforward: "incense attracts immortals in the cave, and food attracts visitors from outside."
Walking into the gatehouse of Zhenfeng Yuan Ze in Zhouzhuang, the couplets on both sides show the pride of Zhouzhuang and the unique scenery today: "The blue waves are bright, and the shadow of Lingyun Building is strange." "Jian Zhen doesn't have a road to climb the sun and health. He goes to the sun and peaches and plums with plenty of food and clothing."
In Sanmao Teahouse in Zhouzhuang, I wandered back and forth three times because of my love for Sanmao. Because of my obsession with Sanmao, I am not very satisfied with the couplets here: "Guests leave their tongues when they go to tea, and the taste of books is in their chests after sleeping."
The legend of the West Lake is so beautiful that today's couplets are also inferior: "Li Shu, who built gates and dikes, has benefited so far, and Liu Fang loves the lake and mountains and misses the Sri Lankan people."
In the Paifang Group in Shexian County, the glory of this ancient village and the significance and position of the Bao family in history were bluntly and proudly told: "A westward journey, filial piety is the first hometown in the south of the Yangtze River." "Yilun's first policy is to emphasize salt, while Youxiong and Jia push Bao's, even European fish and literature."
In the other two couplets, it also explains why the Baojia 18 generations are all rich. In addition to filial piety and learning, there is also strict discipline for future generations: "Filial piety is a pleasure in Tangyin, and poetry and calligraphy are only learned." "The sun and the moon are bright, and the sons and daughters of fame are endless."
In Tangkou Town at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, in a local restaurant, not only the food is affordable, but also the boss and his wife are sincere. What's more, they printed this sentence on their business cards, which moved us very much: "Make less profits and make more friends". Strictly speaking, it is not a couplet, but this concept of doing business for people makes impetuous modern people worth learning.
In Xidi Village, Yixian County, it is the "world" of couplets. Good poems and sentences dazzle you. Calligraphy and painting are everywhere and culture can be seen everywhere.
"Reading is inspirational, childlike innocence is a family heirloom". "The cause starts from the Five Virtues, and the article comes from the Six Classics". "It is good to study hard and do business well, but it is not difficult to start a business." From these words, we can know why there are a large number of red top businessmen like Hu Xueyan in Xidi.
"Happiness comes from hard work, and suffering is cheaper." Why should Confucian businessmen with this mentality worry about not having wealth and happiness?
In short, when I came to the south of the Yangtze River, there were words and pictures everywhere. Words and scenery complemented each other, and words set off the scenery. The scenery along this road is infinite. Even ordinary people and shops use calligraphy couplets to make house numbers, which shows the profound cultural heritage and forms an irresistible cultural tide for thousands of years.
The trip to the south of the Yangtze River is actually a grand ancient cultural experience. This overwhelming cultural tide has made me understand why Jiangnan has been picturesque since ancient times, why Jiangnan is a paradise on earth, why Jiangnan is elegant and not vulgar, why Jiangnan makes people in the world yearn for it, and why people passing by are obsessed with it. ...
