From the tomb to Jiangling, there are two thousand miles of similar poems.

Zaofa baidicheng

Lipper

Early in the morning, I bid farewell to Jiangling city, which is high into the sky, thousands of miles away, and the boat is only one day away.

The cries of apes on both sides of the strait are still unconsciously crowing in their ears, and the canoe has passed the heavy green hills.

Note This poem is also called Xiajiangling.

A brief analysis of this poem was written when the poet Gan Yuan exiled Yelang (now near Zunyi County, Guizhou Province) in the second year (759), and he met forgiveness on his way back to Jiangling from Baidicheng. The poet will soon return to Jiangling. The beautiful scenery and pleasant mood along the way make the whole poem particularly harmonious, wonderful and relaxed!
