Touzhu (Yin Nian Yuan) is a peninsula lying on the northwest shore of Taihu Lake in Wuxi. It is surrounded by water on three sides. It is named because there is a huge stone protruding into the lake, which looks like a turtle with its head raised. .
Yuantouzhu was built in 1916 and covers an area of ??539 hectares. In 2012, it was promoted to a national 5A-level scenic spot.
There are several major landscapes in Yuantouzhu, namely Chongshan Yinxiu, Luding Yinghui, Yuanzhu Chuntao, Hengyun Villa, Guangfu Temple, Taihu Fairy Island, Jiangnan Orchid Garden, Sino-Japanese Cherry Blossom Friendship There are many landscapes such as forests, each with its own style.
We came here because of its fame, parked the car in the parking lot of Yuantouzhu Ticket Office, went to the ticket window to buy tickets, and entered the scenic spot. The first thing I saw was a turtle-shaped boulder with five large blue characters on it, which read "Taihu Yuantouzhu". There were three small red characters in the footnote, and the signature was "Guo Moruo".
We are going to take a boat to Xiandao, which is still some distance away from Xiandao Pier. This distance is built along the shore of Taihu Lake. It is an asphalt road, very flat, and there are also special buses for scenic spots. Because it was not too far, we chose to walk. There are also paths to walk here. We walked along the path, mainly because we wanted to take a look at the scenery of Taihu Lake in Sanchun.

Occasionally, you can see strange stones on the road. These stones have natural hollows in the middle and are very beautiful. It is said that Taihu stone was included in the "Huashi Gang" transported to Bianjing during the reign of Emperor Zhezong of the Song Dynasty.
The tall trees on the roadside provide shade and give people a cool feeling. These tall trees, some of which are hundreds of years old, look ancient and vicissitudes of life. There are mainly camphor trees, plane trees, dry willows, etc. Low shrubs include emerald green wild camellia, boxwood, etc.
Cherry blossoms are occasionally seen near the shore. Late-maturing varieties are in full bloom, while early-maturing varieties have long withered flowers, with petals scattered on the ground.
In front of the mountains along the lake, there are many apartment buildings, villas, pavilions, pavilions and empty corridors. It is used for tourists to eat, drink or rest.
We walked along the shore of Taihu Lake for more than an hour and finally arrived at the pier of Fairy Island. So we took a boat and arrived at Fairy Island in less than twenty minutes.
The first thing that catches the eye is the Arrow Gate Archway, with four big characters on it: "Taihu Fairy Island". It is said that this Taihu Fairy Island was originally called Sanshan Island, commonly known as Turtle Mountain. It is located in Meiliang Lake, 2.6 kilometers away from Yuantouzhu. It is a famous peak among the seventy-two peaks of Taihu Lake. It covers an area of ??12 hectares and consists of four small peaks. Standing in front of the Arrow Gate Archway and looking far away, you can see four connected small islands. The names of these four small islands are Dongya Island, West Ya Island, Sanfeng Island and Wuming Island. The largest island is Sanfeng Island. The first thing we landed on was Xiya Island. Xiya Island has quaint and solemn pavilions and is part of the Dongtian Fudi Scenic Area. There is a plank road between Xiya Island and the three peaks of the main island, leading to the main island.
Our purpose is to board the main island. We walk south along the small square behind the island gate and climb the beam step by step. This is a plank road leading to the former main island. There is a small arrow tower in the middle. It says "Huixian Bridge" on it. The Huixian Bridge plank road connects the main peak. After walking out of the plank road, you come to the foot of the main peak.

There are Tianmen Tianjie, Tiandu Xianfu, Yaowang, Wenwang, Caishen Temple, Lingxiao Pavilion, Pantao Yaochi, Yuelao Temple, Taiyi Temple of Heaven, etc. There are rows of shops on Tianjie Street, which are quaint. The peach-shaped, pomegranate-shaped, gourd-shaped and other carved doors and windows are exquisite and colorful, like a fairy scene.
The main building of Tiandu Xianfu has three floors and five eaves. It is located on the top of the mountain and contains the palaces of Wenchang, Guandi and Mazu. There are corridors on both sides. Lingxiao Palace has seven floors and four corners, with statues of the Jade Emperor. Dajue Bay and Immortal Cave are a collection of Chinese Buddhist and Taoist grotto art. There are also many other scenic spots such as the Rooftop Sacrifice, Yuelao Temple, and Yuanyang Pavilion. It displays the ancient Taoist culture and mythology.
The three mountains are unique and surprising, and win with smallness, like a green snail placed on a jade plate, with lush forests, deep mountain paths, streams flowing along the walls, spraying beads and splashing jade, cave carvings of gods and gods, and a broad landscape. , the sweet-scented osmanthus trees are in bloom and the fragrance is floating, it is like a fairyland, so it is called "Fairy Island".
There is also a stele pavilion for Wen Zhengming's poems built on the top of the mountain. The inscription on the stele is "Taihu Lake", which reads: In a mirror, the island is vertical and horizontal, and the wet silver plate is filled with purple-soaked hibiscus. Who can store thirty thousand hectares in his chest? I want to swim around the seventy peaks. The sky is far away and the waves turn over the sun and the moon. In the cold spring, the country hides its fish and dragons. The middle stream is like smelling chickens and dogs, but there is no trace of Fan Li.
Due to time constraints, after reading it in a hurry, I immediately returned from the original route and came to the lakeside at the foot of the main peak.
The color of the lake is confusing. There is also a statue in the lake. It is an old man standing on the fishing platform, fishing there with concentration, as if the fish has been hooked.
There are also many tourists standing on the boulders on the lakeshore, looking into the lake, maybe watching the speedboats speeding, maybe taking pictures there.
There is also a statue of an elephant and a copper pillar at the south-facing corner of the shore. The elephant is tall and majestic. Under its right front leg, there is a bald boy wearing a monk's robe. He holds the elephant's leg in his right hand and Ruyu in his left hand. There are several parts of the elephant's body that glow when touched by passers-by. The four red characters written on the copper pillars: "Good luck and good luck" also glowed when touched by passers-by. Many tourists took photos here.
It was getting late, so I took a boat back. Looking back, I looked from afar. After landing on the four small islands, they disappeared into the vast Taihu Lake.
The boat arrived at the dock, browsed for a while, and then drove straight to Wuxi.
Before leaving. In front of me, I glanced back at Taihu Lake from the pier. The sun had set, and the afterglow shone on the lake, casting thousands of golden lights.
