Du Fu (Tang)
The cherries in West Shu are red, too, and the savage gives a cage full.
After several times of careful writing, the sorrow is still broken, and the flowers are even and round, which is amazing.
I remember going out of the province yesterday, retiring from the DPRK and holding out Daming Palace.
There is no news about Jin Banyu. I will try a new one today.

Worried: I'm afraid, worried. Ten thousand cherries are even and round: ten thousand cherries are neither too big nor too small, even and round.

Province under the door: official signature. During Su Zong's reign in Germany, Du Fu's bones were collected, belonging to the province under the door.
Daming Palace: The name of the palace in the Tang Dynasty, where the monarch and his ministers made pilgrimages.

Crown turning: the crown grass rotates when it is uprooted by the wind, indicating that the life experience is declining.
Translation:
The cherry in West Shu is so bright red that the rural people gave me a bamboo basket full.
Because it was too ripe, it broke after a few careful moves. I was also surprised that tens of thousands of cherries were so round and symmetrical.
Looking back at the cherry that the emperor gave to save time when he was working under the door, he held out the Daming Palace in his hands when he retired from the DPRK.
The golden plate and jade chopsticks have long been far apart. Today, when I taste new things, I have been wandering around the world like a shed.

? This poem was written in the summer of the first year of Baoying (762), when I came to Shu again. Strict father is an old friend of the poet, so Wu rushed to the thatched cottage many times for nothing. At the same time, Du Fu often kept in touch with Tianfu and Elymus.
The first couplet: "The cherries in Xishu are also red, and the savages are full of cages." This couplet tells the story directly, and it also leads to the past in the court. The moral is as red as the cherry given by the last emperor, which naturally leads to subsequent memories. The word "human" in the second half of the sentence embodies the harmony between the poet and the rural people, and also expresses the people's hospitality to the poet.
Zhuan Xu: "After several times of careful writing, the sorrow is still broken, and thousands of flowers are evenly shocked." "Counting back", "writing carefully" and "worrying" show the poet's treasure of cherries, "Youduan" carries the "red" of the first couplet, indicating that the time is ripe, and the word "Jing" shows the poet's praise of nature's creation and the poet's praise of the people's hard work. "Wan" tied the first couplet "Man Yun Cage".
Neck chain: "I remember yesterday's provincial visit, and I retired from the DPRK to hold the Daming Palace." This couplet turns from the present to the past, compares the past with the present, and recalls the scene that the emperor gave cherries when he was in charge of cleaning up leftovers. The words "Zhan" and "Qing" show the poet's gratitude and loyalty to the court. Tang Ru inquired about it and commented: "It is also a clever idea to use things properly and not make comments."
Tail couplet: "There is no news of the golden plate jade, try something new today." So the poem was written after Su Zong's death, so there was no news, from worrying about the country and the people to sighing about his wandering.
? Comment on Fan Wen's "Eyes Looking at a Stream" ... There are four sentences in the poem, as the Zen master said, that is, those who have ready-made hands and wise heads are straightforward, and what they see is easy to bend and win people's hearts. "But others hard, don't listen. The last four sentences are natural, so the last sentence is beautiful. "
