Wang Tengting, one of the three famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River, is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River, along the binjiang road in the northwest of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It was built in the fourth year of Tang Yonghui (AD 653). It was named after the founding of Wang Teng Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, and it was spread to later generations because of Wang Bo's poem "The sunset is lonely in Qi Fei, and the autumn water is * * * the sky is one color".
The main building of Tengwangge is 57.5 meters high, with a building area of 1.3 million square meters. Its lower part is a 12-meter-high pedestal symbolizing the ancient city wall, which is divided into two floors; The main pavilion above the pedestal adopts the format of "Sanming and Seven Darkness" and is a three-story building with a corridor. There are seven floors in it, divided into three bright floors, three dark floors and an attic. Ji Zheng's kiss is specially made in imitation of the Song Dynasty, with a height of 3.5 meters.
In 2004, Tengwangge Tourist Area in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, including Tengwangge, was approved by the State Council as the fifth batch of national key scenic spots. On October 29th, 2065438+0810/kloc-0, Tengwangge Tourist Area in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, including Tengwangge, was officially approved as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction by the National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee.
Rebuilding the Wang Teng Pavilion:
At the beginning, the Wang Teng Pavilion was built in imitation of the Song Dynasty, that is, in imitation of the Song Dynasty architecture. The architecture in Song Dynasty has always been magnificent and solid, so the construction of Wang Teng Pavilion also adopted this feature. However, because it was not built for many years, the Wang Teng Pavilion collapsed in 1 108 and people had to rebuild it.
The rebuilt Wang Teng Pavilion is bigger than before, and it is known as the "crown of Wang Teng Pavilion".
