The origin of censorship

Jia Dao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, was good at writing five-character poems. He is devoted to writing and pays great attention to the tempering of words.

One day, while riding a donkey, he suddenly remembered two poems: "The bird is staying in the tree by the pool, and the monk is knocking at the door on the moon." At first he wanted to use the word "push" and changed it to "knock". After that, he thought the word "push" was not bad. In this way, Jia Dao pushed and knocked his hands on the donkey's back, and he was not sure at the moment.

At this time, it happened that Han Yu, the chief executive of Kyoto, was not in the room. Jia Dao was absorbed in meditation, so he unconsciously walked into Han Yu's honor guard and was dragged to Han Yu's side. When Han Yu asked what was going on, Jia Dao said that he remembered the poem and couldn't decide which word to use. Han Yu is a great writer. Jia Dao also meditated after hearing this. After a while, Han Yu said to Jia Dao, "I'd better type." In the future, people will use "thoughtful" to mean to choose words carefully and think repeatedly.
