The full text of "Sauvignon Blanc" written by Nalan Xingde in Qing Dynasty means: I marched to Shanhaiguan, escorted by thousands of troops. It was dark, and a lamp was lit in the camp, resplendent and magnificent. It's late at night, and I don't know when, it suddenly began to snow outside the camp, and Melissa Zhou's voice made people unable to sleep. On a cold night, the same wind and snow sound, but I feel completely different from my hometown.

Original poem

Sauvignon blanc nalanxingde

A ride on the mountain, a ride on the water, and a trip to Guan Yu, with thousands of lights at night.

When the wind changes and the snow changes, it is impossible to break the dream of hometown, and there is no such sound in the garden.

Make an appreciative comment

This is a masterpiece describing the homesickness of the frontier troops on the way. What most easily causes * * * is the artistic conception of "one mountain trip, one water trip". No wonder Wang Guowei commented that "Rong Ruo's ci is natural and true". This word is more valuable because it is lingering and not decadent. Tenderness reveals a man's lofty aspirations to defend the frontier fortress and serve the country. The phrase "a thousand lights a night" deserves to be called "a wonder of the ages".

Writing background

On February 15th, the 21st year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1682), Xingde left Shanhaiguan on the 23rd, and wrote "Sauvignon Blanc" and "Like a Dream" on the way. When I went through the customs, the ice and snow were not sold, and I left Wanshui, the capital city of Qian Shan. Everything is so bleak and lonely for the sexual morality of being born in Shanhaiguan pass and growing up in the capital, which reminds people of their relatives and friends. The author felt it and wrote this song "Sauvignon Blanc".
