Spring River Flower Moonlight Translation

Vernacular translation

In spring, the river tide is mighty, connected with the sea, and a bright moon rises from the sea, as if spewing out with the tide.

The moonlight shines on the riverside. The waves are thousands of miles away, and the moonlight shines everywhere on the Chunjiang River.

The river winds around Yuan Ye, where there are many flowers and plants. The moonlight shines on the blooming trees like fine snow beads.

The moonlight is like frost, so the frost cannot be observed. The white sand and moonlight on the mainland blend together and can't be seen clearly.

The river and the sky are the same color, without any tiny dust, only a solitary moon hangs high in the sky.

Who first saw the moon by the river, and when did the moon on the river shine on people for the first time?

Endless, endless, only the moon on the river, year after year, always similar.

I don't know who the moon on the river is waiting for, but the Yangtze River has been carrying flowing water.

The wanderer slowly left like white clouds, leaving only the homesick woman standing in the parting green maple.

Which vagrant is drifting on the boat tonight? Where is someone lovesick upstairs in the bright moon?

The moonlight that keeps moving upstairs should shine on the dressing table of people who leave.

The moonlight shines into the curtain of Sifu, but it won't open. It shines on her anvil and cannot be brushed away.

At this time, I look at the moon but I can't hear each other's voice. I hope to shine on you with moonlight.

Hongyan keeps flying, but it can't fly out of the boundless moonlight; The moon shines on the river, and ichthyosaurs jump in the water, causing ripples.

Last night, I dreamed of falling flowers in the idle pool, but unfortunately I didn't return in half spring.

The river will run out with the spring, and the moon on the pool will set in the west.

The slanting moon slowly sinks and hides in the sea fog, and the distance between Jieshi and Xiaoxiang is infinitely far away.

I don't know how many people can go home by moonlight, but the setting sun is swaying and spreading all over the Woods by the river.

original text

Lian Haiping is in the spring tide, and the bright moon on the sea is born in the tide.

I drift thousands of miles, where there is no moon by the river!

The river flows around Fangdian, and the moonlight shines on the flower forest like graupel.

Frost flows in the air, you can't fly, but you can't see the white sand on the pavilion.

There is no dust in the sky on the river, and there is a lonely moon in the sky.

Who saw the moon by the river for the first time? When did Jiang Yue take the photo at the beginning of the year?

Life is endless from generation to generation, and Jiang Yue is similar year after year.

I don't know who Jiang Yue is waiting for, but I see the Yangtze River delivering water.

The white clouds have gone, and Qingfeng is at a loss.

Who will go boating tonight? Where do you miss Mingyue Building?

Poor people wander upstairs for the moon, so they should leave someone to fill the mirror.

The curtain of the jade pot could not be rolled up, but it was brushed back on the anvil.

At this time, I don't know each other. I hope China will shine on you every month.

Hongyan flies in the sky, and fish Long Qian jumps in the water.

Last night, I dreamed that the idle pool had fallen, and the poor spring had not returned.

In spring, the river flows away, and the pond falls in the moon and the west.

The slanting moon hides the sea fog, and Jieshi Xiaoxiang Road is infinite.

I don't know how many people return home every month, and the moon is full of rivers and trees. ?

Creation background

Moonlit Night on the Spring River is the song title of Yuefu Wu Sheng, which is said to have been written by Chen Houzhu in the Southern Dynasties. The original lyrics are no longer circulating, and later Yang Di re-created this song. Guo Maoqian wrote seven Yuefu poems in the Northern Song Dynasty, two of which were written by Yang Di. Zhang's poems, written for the purpose of fiction, are the most famous, though different from the original tune.

This poem follows the old theme of Sui Chen Yuefu, with a beautiful pen full of life breath, taking the moon as the main body and the river as the scene, and depicts a beautiful and distant picture of the moon by the river, expressing the sincere and touching parting of the wandering wife and the understanding of life philosophy, showing the unique cosmic consciousness and creating a deep, vast and quiet realm.

There are thirty-six sentences in the whole poem, and every four sentences change rhyme. The whole poem integrates poetry, artistic conception and philosophy. The artistic conception is ethereal and bright, the imagination is strange, the language is natural and meaningful, and the rhythm is melodious. It washed away the thick and greasy powder in the palace of the Six Dynasties, which has high aesthetic value. Known as "a solitary poem covers the whole Tang Dynasty".

It's difficult to confirm the specific writing year of this poem, but there are three opinions about the writing place of this poem: Wei Minghua, director of Yangzhou Cultural Research Institute, believes that the poet wrote this poem standing in Qujiang, a southern suburb of Yangzhou, enjoying the moon and watching the tide, showing the scenery around Qujiang in the Tang Dynasty.

The influence of later generations

The poem "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" summarizes the experience of predecessors in conception and material selection, and inscribed the voices of many people in the world with the old saying Yuefu. At the same time, it has a high aesthetic value, which has been told by later generations and attracted countless readers for thousands of years. It is a banner that changed from the elegant style of Qi and Liang Dynasties to the natural beauty in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and it is also an important milestone in the history of ancient poetry in China. Its content and form are mostly used for reference by later poets.

This poem does not focus on shaping mountains and rivers like landscape poems in the Southern Dynasties, nor is it as boring as metaphysical poems, nor is it a love poem that simply expresses the feelings of children's parting, but it combines various poetic and picturesque meanings. Its birth filled the blank in the history of China's ancient poetry with the moon as the central medium, and at the same time wrote the lovesickness of both men and women, and discussed the universe and life philosophy in the same poem. This poem has played an inestimable role in the poetic situation in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, both in the refinement of the theme and the treatment of the theme, and has an important enlightening effect on the poetic creation of later generations.

The process of poetry circulation

In the Tang Dynasty, there seemed to be no poems handed down from generation to generation. From the Tang Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, his poem "Spring River" was almost neglected. According to the textual research of Mr. Cheng, a literary historian, there are Ten Kinds of Tang Poems, A Collection of Tang Miscellaneous Stories, A Collection of Wen Yuan, A Collection of Tang Poems, A Collection of Tang Poems, Notes on Tang Poems, Yuan Qu Tang Yin and so on, but there are no poems. Not only is the Selected Poems of Tang Poetry not included, but it is also not mentioned in more than 20 kinds of poems from Tang Dynasty to Ming Dynasty.

Guo Maoqian's Yuefu Poetry (Volume 47) was the first to include his Poems on the Spring River, and * * included five poems on the same topic, including one by Zhang.

During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, he compiled ancient and modern poems, including Zhang's Poems on the Spring River. Three selections, interpretation and return of Tang poetry in Wanli period: Seven-character ancient poems and Selected Poems of Shicang in Chongzhen period; and Tang Poetry Mirror in the late Ming Dynasty were all selected.

Hu Yinglin's Poems in Wanli Period was the first to comment on Zhang and his poems. By the Qing Dynasty, important anthologies of Tang poetry, such as Tang Poetry Anthology in Kangxi Period, Tang Poetry Anthology in Temple and Imperial Tang Poetry Anthology (volumes 19 and 1 17), Tang Poetry Revision and Snow Mountain by Guan Shiming. , including his poems on the Spring River. ?

His poems are exquisite in description, harmonious in syllables, beautiful and elegant, and rich in emotion, which plays an important role in the transformation of poetic style in the early Tang Dynasty. However, influenced by the gentle poetic style of the Six Dynasties, it often reveals the feeling of impermanence in life. There are many scattered poems, and there are only two poems in the whole Tang Dynasty. One of them is "A Moonlit Night on a Spring River", which is a masterpiece through the ages and has the reputation of "one poem overwhelms the whole Tang Dynasty"; Wen Yiduo commented that "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" is "a poem among poems, a peak among peaks". Another poem is Answer My Boudoir Dream.
