Teach children to read history

"The bright moon in the Qin Dynasty, the retreat in the Han Dynasty, and the Long March did not return. But make Longcheng fly, and don't teach Huma to cross Yinshan. "

Every time I tell students about Wang Changling's Fortress, I will have a profound sense of history. As a graduate student of Chinese Department and History Department, I have a historical plot.

Historical Records is the most beautiful narrative. It is a good choice for children to learn the ability of narrative expression, starting with Historical Records and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. When I teach children to write articles, the first thing is to exercise their narrative ability, but sometimes, children are not satisfied with their own lives and can't dig out their own lives.

How to let children deepen their understanding of life, I think of history and Tang poetry.

Historical stories are the most dramatic life, and children are willing to read and write. Tang poetry is the most beautiful writing. I have tried to teach children to learn history from Tang poetry, and then bring them to feel life from history, and the effect is good.

In fact, there is a distant story behind every frontier fortress poem. If I don't tell my children the story behind the Tang poetry, it will be difficult for them to understand the Tang poetry itself.

Every time I talk about Lulun's "Xia Sai Qu", children like to listen to the story behind "the moonlight shines high, geese fly into the sky, and the Tatar toast runs away in the dark". For children, the beauty of story and artistic conception in poetry need to be integrated first, in order to understand the weather of Tang poetry more deeply.

There is a student who likes Xin Qiji's "Breaking the Array, Watching the Drunk Sword with a Lamp", and there is a saying "Ma Su makes Lu Feifei". I told him the story of Ma Lu, and the students began to reflect on Liu Bei's gentlemanly demeanor. He and I will discuss traditional values. Every time I finish telling him ancient poems, he will argue with me about the worldly wisdom behind them. Gradually, he began to have a better understanding of his life.

Later, children became interested in history and ancient poetry. In the evening, he will listen to my WeChat to tell him about Xue's "Three Arrows Set Tianshan Mountain", and he will also attend the "Poetry Conference" in front of TV with his parents. I am satisfied with his overall progress in Chinese, and he has gradually begun to learn narrative.

The reality is complicated and the history is complicated, but children are always simple.

It is necessary for children to understand this complex society correctly. After all, they will face social pressure and family responsibilities in the future. In my opinion, children can read the country's past after the third grade.

Many boys like to watch the romance of the Three Kingdoms, and I have always supported children to read the Three Kingdoms. In the history of China, few times can surpass the glory of the Three Kingdoms. Entering the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is an era full of competition.

I like to inspire students to ask questions, and my students also like to discuss historical issues with me. After reading "Burning Red Cliff", a student asked me, why didn't the Han Dynasty burn the grassland when it hit the Xiongnu, so that the Xiongnu horses lost forage?

I think this question is very good. Children not only accept knowledge mechanically, but also begin to think about struggle strategies.

In fact, similar things were done in the Tang Dynasty in history, which was also effective. I didn't tell the truth to my children, because I thought that too despicable history would affect the aesthetic feeling of Tang poetry.

Some of my students have studied the Analects of Confucius with me, and some have studied the Book of Songs with me. These Confucian classics, if they are simply words, are dogmatic education for students and have no interest in life.

I like to tell my children the Book of Songs, The Analects of Confucius and even The Water Margin in a historical way.

For example, when I tell them The Book of Songs Qin Feng Without Clothes, I will show them the past behind Wu Zixu's invasion of Chu and Shen Fuxing. Because we live in Suzhou, I also tell the children about the history of Wu Zixu and Suzhou City. The advantage of this is that I am teaching children culture, not just words.

The Water Margin can also be regarded as a historical story. After reading this famous book, children will discuss with me how bad Gao Qiu is. At this time, I will tell them about a disaster in Suzhou at that time, the past of Zhu Cuo, one of the culprits of Huashigang. I will also tell them the past of the riverside scene in Qingming Festival.

Maybe the world I presented to them with history is not as beautiful as a fairy tale. But I want to tell my students in this way what they want to be and what they can't be. In my opinion, this is a vivid education of values.

Now my student will share his experience with me when he is reading Water Margin. I began to think that children will think when they grow up.
