In the Book of Rites, the dialogue between Confucius and Ziyou is quite detailed: "The trip to the Avenue is also business. Choose talents and abilities, keep promises and mend fences, so an old friend is both a relative and an only son. Let the old age end, be useful, the young have their own strengths, and the widowed, widowed and disabled are all supported ... "
In a society where material resources were scarce more than two thousand years ago, Confucius could look forward to political democracy, "the world is public" and "selecting talents and appointing talents"; I hope to be selfless, "not only my relatives, but also my son"; What I yearn for is a happy life of "being old, being strong, useful, widowed, lonely and disabled"-what a "harmonious" society!
People and livestock are "harmonious". Li Er, a philosopher, rode a green ox over Hangu Pass, which made him realize that "Lao Tzu rode an ox over Hangu Pass, and Ziqi came to the east to note the Book of Songs"; The roaring dog assisted Yang Jian in fighting, and the "Erlang God" was invincible with the help of the dog; Another example is Xiang Yu's ZhuiMa, and Guan Yu's "Red Rabbit Horse". After losing their master, they left with the heroes!
In "Dream on Mount Tianmu", Li Bai's imaginary writing is even more magical: "... wearing rainbow clothes and riding the wind, all the queens of clouds came and came down one by one. With the tiger as the harp and the phoenix as the dancer, rows of fairy figures are lined up like hemp ... "Fierce tigers can play music, and birds can drive away!
Xin Qiji's "Walking on the Huangsha Road in Xijiang Moonlight Night" is another scene: "The bright moon surprises magpies, and the breeze sings in the middle of the night. In the fragrance of rice flowers, it is said that the harvest is full, and frogs can be heard ... "The words" magpie ","cicada "and" frog "drum move in silence. The author is also juxtaposed between "magpie", "cicada" and "frog". What a peaceful world!
Man and nature live in harmony. In ancient times, many people accompanied Song, Zhu and Mei, and even regarded Mei as his wife and Song as his son. Liu Yong's "Looking at the Tide of the Sea" is a masterpiece, with relatively complete figures and scenery.
"... there are Sanqiu cassia seeds and Wan Li lotus flowers. Qiang tube clear sky in Wan Li, night, enjoy the lotus. A thousand riders have high teeth. Drunk to listen to the flute and drum, enjoy the haze. The future is good. I'll go back to Fengchi to brag. "
"Qiang Guan clears up, sings songs all night", "Drunk to listen to flutes and drums, enjoying the smoke clouds" and "Playing fish with lotus dolls"-people who play musical instruments, boating and listening to songs, drunk to listen to music, reciting poems and enjoying the scenery, old people fishing among lotus leaves, and children with different ways of playing.
The importance of "noble harmony". "The use of courtesy, harmony is precious." Although some people are controversial about the "ceremony" in Confucius' era, especially the "harmony", later generations often regard "harmony is precious" as the motto of a "harmonious" life. "Everything has its own harmony." Xunzi regards harmony as the measure of life and death. Chinese medicine also stresses "harmony" to make people healthy; Reconciliation of ethnic relations also stresses "harmony", such as Wang Zhaojun's "affinity"; Businessmen also talk about "harmony" because "harmony makes money." ; Living at home also stresses "harmony" because "home and everything prosper".
There are also well-known stories. For example, Lian Po, a military commander, despises Lin Xiangru, a civilian who started his career by mouth. Later, Lian Po knew that Lin Xiangru ignored him for the sake of national interests, so he offered a humble apology to Lin Xiangru. The powerful state of Qin saw this situation and dared not bully Zhao. For example, "North rejects Cao Cao and South rejects Sun Quan": Zhuge Liang's "South and Sun Quan" won the victory of "Battle of Red Cliffs"; But Guan Yu refused to "make peace" with Wu Dong. Not only did he lose Jingzhou, but his father and son also died. ...
It can be seen that "harmony" is beneficial to the country and family, and also to the "harmony" person himself!
"Harmonious society" people are the most important. Mencius' exposition is very incisive: "The weather is not as good as the geographical position, and the geographical position is not as good as human harmony." However, "human harmony" is two-sided, or multifaceted. Chu attacked the State of Jin, which intended to make peace, but Chu was determined to win. After the war began, the king of Jin ordered his army to "retreat three times" (retreat three times and ninety miles). The Chu army is still pressing hard. Little did I know that the retreat of the state of Jin made our army a teacher of justice and paralyzed the enemy. Jin finally defeated Chu. It can be seen that "harmony" cannot be wishful thinking and abandon principles. For the other party who is not "harmonious", sometimes you have to seek "harmony" with your own strength.
