Fengjian Water Town in Foshan, Feng Jian Village, Shunde, is one of the best water towns in Lingnan, and can even be compared with the well-known Jiangnan Water Town, and is called "Zhouzhuang in Guangdong". The water town is located at the northern end of Xingtan Town, with superior hydrological resources. The waterway around the village is more than 10 kilometers, and the waterway under its jurisdiction is 28 kilometers. Tourists boating in the blue waves have a feeling of endless twists and turns. The water town is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the air is fresh and pleasant, which complements the pattern of ancient villages in Lingnan. The ancient houses and trees on both sides of the strait are criss-crossed, and the stone streets are vertical and horizontal. Usually, only villagers pass by in twos and threes, which is a good interpretation of Tao Yuanming's poem "There are fewer people in the wild and fewer wheels in the poor lanes." The artistic conception of "covering Fei Jing by day and thinking about dust in an empty room".

Every Jane lived here since the Western Han Dynasty, and later developed into a market, and became a village in the Tang Dynasty. The cultural atmosphere here is extremely strong, and stone tablets used to pave roads or build pier stone steps can be seen everywhere in the village. The inscription is engraved with words such as Juren and Jinshi. It is said that since the Song and Yuan Dynasties, most of the people who lived in seclusion in Fengjian were scholar-bureaucrat families. They spread poems and books, respected Confucianism and attached importance to education, and the ancient village strongly advocated reading. From the Yuan Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, many people studied and became officials. There are many scholars and juren in the small village, and once a family produced eight scholars and three academicians, which was passed down as a much-told story.

Fengjian village was originally composed of people with surnames such as Liang, Liu and Li, and people of all ethnic groups lived by the river. With the increase of the population of all ethnic groups and intermarriage with foreign surnames, the surnames in the village began to increase, and each surname set up its own ancestral temple to worship ancestors on important days. At present, there are about 20 ancestral halls in Feng Jian Village.

Liu's Grand Ancestral Hall is located in Xingtan Town, with the hall number "Zhuiyuan Hall". It was built in the 13th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (14 15) and expanded the following year. It is the most complete and largest ancestral temple in the Ming Dynasty in the Pearl River Delta. It is the largest ancestral temple in Fengjian and one of the five ancestral temples in Shunde. According to legend, Liu Jian was followed by Zhongshan, and she was a descendant of Emperor Gaozu.

Liu's Grand Ancestral Hall is the "first ancestral hall" in Fengjian ancient village, which is incomparable to other ancestral halls in both area and momentum. The ancestral hall was built in the 13th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty by Liu Wuzu. Repairs will be carried out next year, and east and west clocks, drums and surrounding pavilions will be expanded. The ancestral hall is a quadrangle structure with three entrances and three roads facing south. Hard peak, dragon boat ridge, blue brick wall. Later, during the period from 1986 to 1990, overseas Chinese from Hong Kong and Macao and mainland sincerity made great efforts to raise funds to rebuild in situ. 1997, the lecture hall, Buddhist hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Dizang Hall, Ancestral Hall and Gongde Hall were expanded with the approval of the higher authorities. Up to now, the building covers an area of about 6,000 square meters, with a building area of 3,000 square meters.

From the renaming of Jingyuan, it is found that there are two senses in Buddhist temples, namely, "flat sense" and "wonderful sense" The highest position of a bodhisattva is Buddha, and the best is Buddha. Also from the door couplet to explore its meaning, enlightenment is Buddha, wonderful method to cross all beings. The awakened one is a Buddha, and so is the Tathagata.

Wonderful method is another name of Buddhism, but it reflects the development from Hinayana Yundu to Mahayana Yundu, which is the process of Buddhism's self-revolution. Starting from Guanyin Gate in Lianchi, "the two truth certificates are complete", that is, the holy truth and the vulgar truth. Vulgar "empty." The sage is "clear and empty." But the understanding of nature and material society is different, so it is called the difference between the two truths.
