The Paiyun Hall is built on a high platform with double eaves, and consists of 265,438+0 houses in front and back. There are thrones, screens, cauldrons, palace hills, etc. There are four large copper cylinders symmetrically arranged under the platform in the hall, which are used for fire prevention and water storage, commonly known as "Gate Sea".
There are verandahs and halls around Paiyun Hall, and there is a pool made of white marble or Jinshui Bridge in the front yard. The four corners of the temples overlap and the glass is colorful. Seen from a distance, Paiyundian, Paiyunmen, Jinshui Bridge and Ergongmen are in a straight line.
Paiyundian is the most spectacular building complex in Qingyi Garden, and it is also the most important core landscape building complex on the north-south axis of Qingyi Garden. Paiyundian complex starts from the "Yunhui Yuyu" archway near Kunming Lake, with Paiyundian as the center, and consists of Paiyunmen, Yuhua Hall, Yunjintang, Ergongmen, Fanghuitang, Zixiaotang, Paiyundian, Dehuitang, verandahs and annex rooms. The north and south run through a central axis, rising layer by layer and imposing.
Yunhui Yuyu archway is adjacent to Kunming Lake, which is the starting point of the main axis of the central building complex in front of Wanshou Mountain. The building has four pillars and seven yellow glazed tiles, painted with golden dragon seal, and the grade is extremely noble. Yunhui Yuyu archway indicates that the palace here is a world where colorful clouds and gorgeous buildings complement each other.
On the south side of the memorial archway, the plaque reads "The Book of Stars", which is intended to tell people that this is "the land of immortals guarded by the stars".
There are two lifelike and beautifully cast bronze lions in front of Yunmen, and six Taihu stones with different shapes are placed on both sides, which symbolizes the zodiac.
The north and south plaques on the archway express the praise and praise to the rulers, and also imply the feudal ritual order of respecting the monarch and the ministers.
