Farewell on the Ancient Grassland

Farewell on the Ancient Grassland

Bai Juyi Tang

By Bai Juyi (Tang)

Lush grasses spread on the plain,

Lush grasses spread on the plain,

One year old and one withered.

Withering in autumn and flourishing in spring every year.

Wild fires can't destroy them fully,

< p> The spring breeze blows and gives birth again.

And they grow again in the spring breeze.

The grasses with their scent spread far and invade the ancient roads.

The grasses with their scent spread far and invade the ancient roads.

Qingcui connects to the deserted city.

And the sunny green joins the ruined city.

Send Wang Sun off again,

Again I am to see you off, a close friend of mine,< /p>

The love is full of love.

And our farewell affection is as deep as the luxuriant grass.
