Appreciation of poems about Begonia written by Yu Feile for Begonia
Li Liuqian
The thin sun is clear, the light smoke envelopes the dawn, and the spring breeze embroiders the forest pond. Xiaoxi peach and Bingwu apricot are so unusual. Dongjun's place would be very prosperous without him. The green is deep, who taught it to the bone, and the rain and waves come at night. These colors are already annoying to people. How to change the way, it is a pity that it is just without fragrance.
This is a poem dedicated to the beauty of Begonia flowers. The first three sentences describe the environment in which Begonia grows. "The thin sun is shining brightly, and the light mist envelopes the dawn" describes the early morning in spring, when a light mist covers the earth's surface; the sun rises on the shallow sky in the east, and the tranquil and soft light melts into the mountains, rivers and fields. The sentence "embroidering the forest pond" describes the flow of time. The word "embroidery" is used very cleverly. It not only describes the process of the morning fog slowly dispersing and becoming clear from the sky, but also depicts the beautiful scenery of green trees and clear water emerging from the mist; it seems to be a scene embroidered on the gauze by the masterful hands of nature. A landscape painting with an elegant and remote artistic conception. It is against this background that the beauty of Begonia flowers is revealed. However, the poet does not describe the beauty of Begonia flower positively, but first compares her with Taoxing. Peach blossoms and apricot blossoms are flowers that people often use as symbols of spring. Poems such as "The garden is full of spring scenery and can't be contained, a branch of red apricot comes out of the wall", "Peach red brings another year of spring", etc. all regard them as representatives of spring. However, in the poet's opinion, compared with crabapple flowers, peaches and apricots are greatly inferior. "The peaches of Xiaoxi and the apricots of Wuxi are so unusual." "Laugh" means to laugh. "Tesha" means too or too much. This sentence means that the flowers of peach and apricot beside the stream are too ordinary and insignificant compared with the begonia flowers. This is the method of suppressing peach and apricot and promoting crabapple. Then, another hypothesis was made: "Dongjun's place, without him, it would be very prosperous." "Dongjun" is the god of Sichun. "Hou" is the intermittent modal particle, equivalent to "ha" in modern Chinese. This sentence means: If there is no her (Begonia) in spring, what kind of spring scene can there be? Begonia should be the representative of spring. In the poem "Begonia" written by Wu Rong of the Tang Dynasty, there is a sentence that "the color of spring is the most romantic", which is consistent with the meaning of this word.
In the next part, I will first write about the beauty of the branches and leaves of Begonia. "The green is so deep that it penetrates to the bones. When it rains at night, it is drenched in waves." "Linlang" refers to the continuous dripping of water droplets. The crabapples washed by the night rain are fresh and smooth, with green branches and green leaves, full of vitality; beads roll down from the branches and leaves from time to time, shining brightly. Such a delicate and charming figure is so tempting! "Who" here means "what, how", and "penetrating into the bones" means entering the heart. This is to highlight the beauty of flowers with the beauty of leaves. "These colors" refers to the many colors of Begonia flowers, including red, yellow, pink and white. However, the poet did not directly describe the color of Begonia. He only used "these children" to refer to it, which not only saved pen and ink, but also gave people room for imagination. These colors are not only diverse, but also extremely gorgeous, enough to "irritate people's intestines". "Annoyance" means chaos, and "human intestine" means the human heart. She can make the viewer excited, confused and confused. However, some people regretfully believe that although flowers are beautiful, they lack fragrance. The poet disagreed with this and defended it by saying: The graceful appearance of Begonia alone is enough to overwhelm all flowers, why bother talking about its fragrance or not? It shows the poet's preference for Begonia.
This poem is very unique in its writing. From the beginning to the end, the appearance and color of the begonia flower are never described from the front. Instead, their beauty is expressed through techniques such as side contrast, contrast, and contrast. First, the crabapple is compared with the peach and apricot, and the peach and apricot are suppressed to promote the crabapple; secondly, through the hypothesis, it would not be spring without the crabapple, indicating that it occupies a prominent position in the spring scenery; thirdly, with the branches and leaves as the foil, the leaves are used as the background. The beauty of the flower is brought out by its tenderness; then, the mesmerizing reaction of the viewer is written to show the strong charm of Begonia. Finally, it refutes the different opinions and establishes Haitang's unique position in Fengliu. Sikong Tu advocated in "Shi Pin" that "without a single word, you can be romantic". The writing of this word can be said to be profound and wonderful.
