Nanping Lingyun Tower stands tall in Nanping Township, Lichuan City, Hubei Province. The Wind Tower is located in Shatianba Village, Peifeng Avenue, Tuanbao Town, which is away from the market town 1 km and across the river from Tuanbao Middle School. It is named after cultivating the meaning of "writing style". Built in the winter of the 26th year of Qing Daoguang (1846), it is a masonry structure with six corners and seven floors, double eaves, covering an area of 20 square meters, with a height of 17.8 meters, a regular hexagonal plane, a side length of 1.9 meters and a west gate width of 0.9 meters. The threshold is engraved with the word "Peifeng Tower" in block letters, and the stone gate is engraved with the relief of fishing firewood. The couplets are "extremely purple, and the steps are firmly connected to Qingyun". The floor in the tower has been destroyed. This tower was proposed by Tuanbao literati in the late Qing Dynasty, and was supported by Wu Renyan, Liao Sheng Nanfu Lichuan Boudoir and others. When it was completed, hundreds of people made voluntary donations, and two monks, namely, the monk Yongfa of Shilong Temple and the monk Ziran of Wusheng Palace, donated 2.4 million pieces, as well as the strong sponsorship of the Grand Priests Xiao Guangchao, Xiao and Liu Deyu. Yiyingta is located near the reservoir of Yemaoshui Village in Tuanbao Town, 5 kilometers away from the market town. On both sides of the tower gate are engraved couplets of "one color is long, the sky is high, the sky is high, the sky is high". Cross-approved as "Yiying Tower". The first floor is carved with flowers and plants, the second floor is embedded with inscriptions, and the third to seventh floors are all painted flowers and plants. The seventh floor and the top of the tower have been destroyed by lightning and collapsed, covered with weeds and small trees. The tower was built by local Tujia people such as Ran Yongquan.
