When people see Guanyin Bodhisattva, the most natural association is the word compassion. There is also a saying that closing your eyes represents the pity of all sentient beings, but at the same time you can't bear to open your eyes to see their suffering. Therefore, it's not that Guanyin closes her eyes and doesn't save the world, but she just doesn't want to see many human tragedies.
After all, Guanyin is merciful. How can it be said that Guanyin is not saving all beings in the world when she closes her eyes? This view is actually incorrect.
