The world thought that cowherd and weaver girl would become immortal in vain. It is best for men and women on earth to get along day and night. Qin Guan doesn't think so. He thought, since the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl have a faithful love, it is better to meet once in this autumn night than to live together with many men and women without love. On the concept of gender, Qin Guan put love first, which played an enlightening role in ancient times when only the right family was known and the concept of marriage prevailed. Although there were many love stories in the Song Dynasty, they were nothing more than a "human desire" to eat, drink and run amok. It is rare to express such a view of love.
