How to treat the love view in Bai Juyi's Song of Eternal Sorrow?
Personally, I think Bai Juyi's Song of Eternal Sorrow begins with "Emperor China, lust may shake the beauty of an empire", which has already expressed his original intention, that is, by writing this poem, he satirized Xuanzong's indulgence in beauty in his later years, which eventually led to the tragedy of national chaos. However, Bai Juyi wrote down and lamented Li Yang's tragedy, and turned to regret "everlasting; One day, both will end, and this endless sorrow will last forever. " People regard "Song of Eternal Sorrow" as an allegory, but they also sigh in the second half, "Liu Jun didn't die a natural death before he turned to Emei." Combined with his life, it seems understandable why Bai Juyi did this: when he was young, he met a girl who wanted to spend his life together, but he failed to have a lover. Therefore, if "Song of Eternal Sorrow" hides some unknown secrets, I personally agree that Bai Juyi pinned the regret that he loved as a teenager but could not have on "Song of Eternal Sorrow". While feeling the tragedies of Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, he also remembered his and Xiangling's regrets. Some things can't be stopped when they happen, and some people will never see them again if they miss them. Bai Juyi's heart is still soft, which may be empathy or simple regret. As for the person who has a memory, no matter how many years have passed, at first glance, bloom is still a warm spring in bloom!
