The author of Twenty Cherry Blossoms in Xinlou is Li Shen, a poet in Song Dynasty. His wonderful poem: Spring is warm and bloom is early, and snow clouds are lighter than calyx. Li Shen (772-846) was born in Qiaocheng County, Bozhou City, Anhui Province, and Wucheng County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Tang dynasty prime minister and poet.
