The uncanny Tai Chi City is a natural city.
Xunyang County is currently the only natural Tai Chi city in China and rare in the world. The Han River and the Xun River meet in Xunyang County. Due to the continuous undercutting, erosion, sedimentation and accumulation of the Xun River bed over hundreds of millions of years, the river bed was formed. The "S"-shaped pattern passes around the city and suddenly forms a natural Tai Chi pattern. Yinyu Island and Yangyu Island are chasing each other head to tail, embracing each other symmetrically, and they are lifelike. The most peculiar thing is that there are two thousand-year-old cypresses growing at the Yin and Yang fish eyes, which are still flourishing after thousands of years. The uncanny workmanship of nature has created the mysterious and magical natural Tai Chi City.
As early as the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, there was a poem describing it: "The city is full of lights and stars, and a ten-hour water circle around Tai Chi", which proves that the name of Tai Chi City has a long history. During the Republic of China, Xunyang Taiji City was also praised by the highest level of the Kuomintang.
