A poem in which a pear blossoms overwhelm a begonia.

Su Shi, one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, once wrote a poem: "Eighteen brides are eighty lang, with white hair and red makeup. Two nights of mandarin duck quilt, pear tree pressing begonia. Originally, it was a mockery of Zhang Xian, a poet in the Song Dynasty, because he married a concubine of 18 years old when he was 80 years old, which means "the old cow eats the young grass".

In the movie "Tong Pak Hu Dian Chou-heung", Tang Bohu said that he was "beating Pan An with a well-proportioned tree and hitting Haitang with a pear flower", which was somewhat different from "beating Haitang with a pear flower". However, due to its popularity, it has naturally become a joke among many young people.

Pear flower is different from tree pear flower because the former is a flower, which "presses" many begonia. Haitang itself is beautiful, but there is a pear flower more beautiful than them. More importantly, this pear flower represents purity, beauty, integrity, wisdom and courage.
