1. Reflection on the teaching of "My Books, I Care" in Kindergarten
At the beginning of the activity, I created an anthropomorphic scene of "Book Baby Cries" to stimulate children's interest in activities , encouraging everyone to work together to find ways to help the book baby. The children cried and sympathized with the book baby. They all thought of ways to help Shubaby. Some said they should see a doctor, and some said they should give it some supplements. Among the various methods used by children, I introduced tools for repairing books and presented them one by one so that children could initially understand these tools. When the teacher is repairing books, I am reciting children's songs while repairing books. In the specific children's songs, children are asked to watch the process of repairing books, and each child is asked to touch the repaired books, guiding the children to say: "Book baby, I love you, I like you" to inspire children to love and care for books.
In the second session, I asked the children to read books and asked them to find damaged books. The children were really capable and immediately found a few "injured" books. The good news is that when children exchange books with their peers, they will politely communicate: "xxx, can you change it for me?" There is no "robbing" phenomenon. This shows that our children are making progress.
But to really make children understand how to care for books and develop good behaviors and habits of getting close to books from an early age is not something that can be solved in one class or one day, but through a series of "I The activities of "Book-loving Baby" are implemented slowly, especially for children in day care, the work is detailed and arduous.
