Poems and articles describing "Hongmei Pavilion"

Hongmei Pavilion

Located in the southeast corner of Hongmei Park, opposite to Tianning Temple, a thousand-year-old temple. Simple, thick and majestic. Hongmei Pavilion was first built during the reign of Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty (AD 889-904) and was part of the Jianfu Temple. It was later included in the Xuanmiao Temple. During the Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, the pavilion was abandoned and renovated several times. The current Hongmei Pavilion was rebuilt in the 26th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1900). It was renovated in 1990. Hongmei Pavilion is built on a two-meter-high earth platform with a brick and wood structure, double eaves resting on the top of the mountain, and a corridor below. The pavilion is 17 meters high, with two floors, facing north and south. There is a stone square and stone steps with cloud and crane patterns in the south, which are the entrance and exit passages. On the forehead of the square are engraved the four words "Tianqu Main Road". A couplet is engraved on the pillars of the square: "The Tao has a source, and words and deeds are established; work has no end, and there are sages, saints, and heaven." In front of the pavilion, there is a rare treasure "Bingmei Stone" pillar. In the Song Dynasty, Hongmei Pavilion served as a tribute academy and later became a Taoist academy. It is said that Zhang Boduan, the founder of the Nanzong of Quanzhen Taoism (known as the real person of ***) once gathered disciples here to practice and wrote the "Enlightenment Chapter". According to the stone carving "Reconstruction of Hongmei Pavilion", the five Taoist Quanzhen Daonan ancestors (Zhang ***, Xue Daoguang, Shi Xinglin, Chen Niwan, and Bai Yuchan) all attained Taoism in this pavilion. Before the Qing Dynasty, the upper floor worshiped Yahuang, Doumu and Wenchang; the lower floor is the Patriarch Hall! It was dedicated to the "Fifth Patriarch of the South", "Fifth Patriarch of the North" and "Qizhen of the North" and Zhang Tianshi after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It has been a museum and a calligraphy and painting institute. The upper part is the Changzhou Celebrity Deeds Exhibition Hall, and the lower part is the exhibition venue.

[Appreciation of Ancient Poems] Visiting Hongmei Pavilion in Qing Dynasty·Zhao Yi

As the saying goes, if you look for Hakkas in spring, the red plum trees are shining brightly. Such as the clouds.

Before Qiaoyang left for immortality, he swept away the fallen flowers at Yaotai.

The Hongmei Pavilion was built during the Zhaozong period of the Tang Dynasty and was originally a part of Jianfu Temple. . It was burned down in the Song Dynasty and rebuilt and destroyed in the Ming Dynasty. Later, the Hongmei Pavilion was rebuilt on the site of Xuanmiao Temple and was later converted into a Taoist temple and became a famous tourist attraction in Changzhou.

Zhao Yi wrote a Qijue "bibi" poem, focusing on describing the beautiful scenery of Hongmei Pavilion, reflecting the poet's mood of seeking spring, admiring spring, loving flowers, and cherishing flowers. It is a few sentences full of interest.

Hongmei Pavilion is located outside the east gate of Changzhou City, so it is said "out of Guo", which refers to the location; "Xunchun" refers to the time and purpose. In early spring, when the red plum blossoms bloom, it is It's a good time to look at flowers; "Yu Hakka" is the Taoist temple, which is the object of the visit. This sentence contains rich content. It tells people: the author's purpose is to look for spring, to see flowers, not to learn Taoism. and seeking immortality. This sets up a good foreshadowing for the following three sentences.

"The red plum tree is as bright as the clouds", which is the warning sentence of the whole article, written in a simple, natural and beautiful way. Touching. Of course, there is more than one plum blossom tree in Hongmei Pavilion, but this one tree looks very brilliant and gorgeous. It looks like a patch of red clouds and a spring scenery in the courtyard. This is the technique of "using less to make more". It also seems to be a "close-up" in movies and TV shows, showing the unique scenery and interest of Hongmei Pavilion.

Hongmei Pavilion originally had a mythical legend, which gave the plum blossoms a "fairy air". . But the poet has no intention of writing about the fairyland, he is still writing about the human world. He introduced a scene of a Taoist sweeping up falling flowers: "Qiaoyang is about to go to the immortals, and he first sweeps up the fallen flowers at Yaotai." This "Qiaoyang" refers to Taoists in general. The real person, also known as "Yu Ke", is the owner here. He happens to have not gone out yet, but he is sweeping the fallen flowers on the steps of the courtyard to greet the guests. This is a beautiful artistic conception: "Sweeping flowers" means sweeping the path. Welcoming guests is also a sign of loving and cherishing flowers. Flowers bloom and fall, which is a normal phenomenon in nature. It is precisely because red plum trees are not just one tree. Some of them are in full bloom and some of them fall first. The blooming flowers are beautiful. Falling flowers are also beautiful, and the action of sweeping them is also beautiful - because it contains a beautiful emotion and interest.

Go visit the Hongmei Pavilion and read this poem "Inscribed on the Wall" again. You will have a lot of interest, arouse a lot of reverie and beauty

[Modern Prose] In front of the Hongmei Pavilion in the hazy morning mist or the falling rain. , seems to bring back my distant and ethereal memory of this double-eaves flying pavilion.

When I was fourteen or fifteen years old, I was still studying in middle school. I couldn’t explain why, but I always liked to walk alone in front of the ancient pavilion that was decayed and desolate at that time. A blur appeared in front of my eyes. The red plum blossoms are in full bloom, gorgeous and beautiful, which can be called "like a fairy city". Poet Zhao Yi's poem "Going out of Guo to find spring feathers for Hakkas, the red plum trees are as bright as the clouds. Before Qiaoyang leaves for immortality, he first sweeps the fallen flowers to Yaotai". Isn't it just a chant and praise for the beautiful scenery of this good time? In fact, this emotional excitement is blended with that magical and beautiful legend, which attracts people to explore and think...

It is said that during the Zhizheng period of the Yuan Dynasty, Gong Zibin, an official in Wuyang County, Changzhou Prefecture, lost his life due to a mistake. Beating his maid to death, he surrendered to Futai and was sentenced to be exiled to Yunnan. On the way, he met an immortal man traveling with him. He actually traveled back and forth between Changzhou and Yunnan on the same day and planted the Yunnan red plums he brought back around the Hongmei Pavilion. The red plums bloomed instantly. Like a neon cloud.

This is just the legend of Hongmei Pavilion recorded in "Wu Yang Zhiyu", but in the decades after learning this beautiful story, I always have a dream in my heart: a beautiful The woman, in flowing white clothes and with a peaceful smile on her face, walked over gracefully.

The flying red plum petals paved a neon-like path for her. She was the maid who was "accidentally hit in the head and killed" by Gong Zibin. She was about to report to me that Gong Zibin's story was true, and the "knowledge" in the world There is definitely more than one Gong Zibin who corrects his mistakes...

Beautiful dreams will never be shattered. Although in the past years, the seductive yearning that always exudes will only become more mysterious and extraordinarily imaginary, just like the pattern on the ice plum stone in front of the Hongmei Pavilion, the more you stare at it without blinking. Looking at it, the more I felt that the relief-like ancient plum blossoms were gradually fading away, and they could not be seen clearly; then, even the vague and indistinct feeling was gone - the staff and stone pillar were missing. However, the deep longing and the endless calls in my heart are more firmly imprinted in my heart and shine in my memory.

Several more years passed. I heard that the Hongmei Pavilion is once again crowded with visitors. This is not only because the plum trees planted after the catastrophe have bloomed brilliantly, but also because the ancient stone has been erected beside the pavilion. So, before dawn, I came to the Hongmei Pavilion and saw a field of crimson plum blossoms from a distance, surrounding the exquisite and exquisite two-story ancient building, revealing the charm of different customs and the fragrance of the road. From this, I suddenly felt that there was a kind of magnificent, deep and magical beauty flowing and blending with each other. Maybe this is why Changzhou people are happy to name streets, new villages and high-quality products after "red plum"! Yes! Yes, the story of Gong Zibin and the wonderful rocks have once enlightened and nourished people, and they will also advise the world to "recognize their mistakes and change them" forever in the future. However, this is ultimately an illusive and beautiful legend, and as human beings, we must completely get rid of ignorance. How difficult it would be to truly grasp one's own history and move towards a fully civilized era...

The soil, streams, vegetation, bricks and stones here all shine with the light and shadow of red plums, and this The ancient pavilion also contains more and more infinite poetry and painting, which really makes me unable to bear to leave immediately...

[Folk Literature] Speaking of Red Mei Ge must talk about Gong Zibin. Legend has it that in the Yuan Dynasty, Gong Zibin, an official in Wuyang County, reviewed the prison records in Feixia Tower of Xuanmiao Temple and ordered his maid to deliver meals every day. One day when he went out and returned to the building, he was already hungry, but he didn't see the maid bringing food. He went home angrily, scolded and beat the maid without thinking about the incident, and unfortunately the maid "died by mistake." The next day, he found a rancid meal covered with a case file under the desk. He suddenly realized that he had wronged his maid. He was filled with regret and emotion. He sighed: "How can you know that there are no injustices when there are so many cases here?" Then he burned them all in a fire. According to the case file, he pleaded guilty to the governor and was sentenced to exile in Yunnan.

The governor of Changzhou was from Yunnan, so he asked Gong Zibin to send a letter home. Gong was escorted on the road. When he left the city, an old man walked up to him and said that he was willing to go with Gong. He folded a branch into a crutch and took off a ribbon from his waist. Draw a ribbon. Within a few moments, we landed in a city with red plum blossoms in full bloom. It turned out that we had arrived in Yunnan.

Gong Zibin immediately went to the city to deliver a family letter to the governor. The governor's father saw that the seal on the letter was actually the same day. He asked why and was surprised, so he wrote a reply and asked Gong to return to Changzhou to deliver the letter. . Before leaving, Gong Zibin picked a few branches of red plums, and then returned to Changzhou with the old man to meet the governor. The governor did not believe it, so Gong immediately showed Yunnan red plums as proof, and the governor believed him. Gong Zibin planted red plums around Feixia Tower. The red plum blossoms quickly sprouted new branches and buds, and bloomed brilliantly. Feixia Tower was renamed Hongmei Pavilion. Gong Zibin drifted away with the immortal man. Before leaving, the Taoist priest of Xuanmiao Temple asked: "When will you come back?" Gong Zibin pointed to a stone pillar in front of the Hongmei Pavilion and replied: "This stone blooms, which is the day of my return!" Three years later, the stone pillar bloomed as expected. The icy plum blossom pattern resembles the reappearance of the colorful sparse shadows of red plum blossoms beside the Hongmei Pavilion. This is the ancient stone "Bingmei Stone".

Of course, the immortals and Gong Zibin in the mythical story never returned. However, the Hongmei Pavilion and its surrounding red plums, green bamboos, river rockeries, etc. remain the same. It seems to be silently teaching visitors to "correct their mistakes if they know they are wrong."
