Abe Zhongmalu is very grateful to Tang Xuanzong and other friends for their hospitality. He also wrote poems in return, and took off his beloved sword as a souvenir for China poets. He wrote in the poem: "You will resign from your country, but you will not be a courtier. Love the God in heaven and cherish the kindness from overseas. Playing against Jin Que is not the way to Yujin. Penglai township is far away, just like a garden. Look at Wyoming Day in the West and feel justice in the East. Take a sword in your life and leave it to make friends. "
A group of four ships sailed into the vast sea, and when they reached Arnay Wave (Okinawa Island), they were hit by a big storm. Other Minlang elegies later returned to Japan, but there was no news of Ma Lu's ship in Abe. The news that Ma Lu in Abe was shipwrecked at sea quickly spread to the Tang Dynasty. At this time, the poet Li Bai is roaming in Suzhou. Hearing this news, I was very sad, so I wrote a mourning poem "Crying for Chaoqingheng": "Japan celebrates its imperial city and sails around Penghu. The bright moon is gone forever. White clouds are full of sorrow. " Japan's Chaoqing bid farewell to the capital Chang 'an and set sail for his hometown in the sea. My friend, as bright as the moon, is gone forever. He sank into the depths of the blue sea and covered Cangwu Mountain with sad white clouds to mourn the death of my friend. It shows how deep the friendship between them is.
In fact, Ma Lu in Abe was not killed. It turned out that his boat drifted to the coast of Vietnam today. In June, 755, I went back to Chang 'an after many hardships.
In the winter of 755 A.D., the Anshi Rebellion occurred in the Tang Dynasty, and Abe Zhongmalu followed Xuanzong to fight everywhere until the Anshi Rebellion was killed and returned to Chang 'an in February 65438+757 A.D.. Later, Ma Lu in Abe served as the constant attendant of Zuosanqi and the wet nurse of Zhennan. In 766, Abe Zhongma Road was appointed as China's ambassador by Tang Daizong Li Yu. Shortly after he took office, he became seriously ill. In 65438+770 10, Ma Lu of Abe died in Chang 'an. And buried in Chang 'an, Tang Daizong posthumously awarded him the title of "Luzhou DuDu". Ma Lu Abe has made outstanding contributions to Sino-Japanese friendly exchanges and cultural exchanges all his life, and is a pioneer of Sino-Japanese friendly exchanges. In memory of this pioneer of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange, Yoshikata Yoda, a modern Japanese writer, wrote a drama "Homecoming Poem", which warmly praised Zhong Malu's historical achievements and his profound friendship with Japanese poets. Now Japan and China have built the "Abe-China Ma Lu Monument" in Nara and Xi 'an respectively. Xi 'an's monument is located in the ruins of Xingqing Palace (now in Xingqing Palace Park) frequented by Abe Middle Road. This is a monument made of white marble. Li Bai's Crying for Chao Qingheng and Zhong Ma Lu's Homecoming Poem are engraved on the tablet, and there are inscriptions describing the life of Zhong Ma Lu for tourists from all over the world to see.
