Hezhou passes through Bama to Xilin expressway, referred to as Hexi Expressway. It is the "Horizontal 3" line in expressway Network Planning (20 18 ~ 2030). Due to the long line, the project is divided into several high-speed sections, namely Lianzhou-Hezhou Expressway, Hezhou-Bama Expressway, Bama-Tianlin Expressway and Tianlin-Xilin Expressway.
The groundbreaking ceremony of Hezhou-Xilin Highway from Bama via Lingyun to Tianlin was held in Bama Yao Autonomous County, which marked the official start of the construction of the last expressway of Bama's "Eight Lines and One Ring" expressway Network. After the project is completed, Bama will become the first ethnic autonomous county in ring highway, China. Tianlin-Xilin section of Hezhou-Xilin Highway is the expressway connecting Baise, Guangxi and Qujing, Yunnan, and also the finishing project of "County Expressway" in Guangxi.

As of July 1, 20265438, the mileage of expressway in the whole region has exceeded 6000 kilometers, reaching 7089 kilometers. On February 29th, 2022, the opening activities of 65438 Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region connecting expressway, Jinan Dan and Tiane, Tianlin and Xilin expressway counties were held simultaneously in Nanning, Tiane County of Hechi City and Xilin County of Baise City by video connection. It marks that Xilin County and Tiane County have ended the history of not receiving expressway. The whole district11/counties (cities, districts) are all connected to expressway, and Guangxi has fully realized that counties and counties are connected to expressway.
