Introduction to desert
Desert is a Chinese word, pronounced dàmò, and its definition is boundless desert. Desert generally refers to the northeast Asian plateau, that is, the inland plateau of East Asia. Daxing 'anling in the east, Altai Mountain in the west, Sayanling, Kent Mountain and Yabulov Mountain in the north, and the yinshan mountains in the south. These two marginal zones are called Nansha Desert and North Desert respectively.
