Original text and translation of ancient poetry in mountain villages

The original text and translation of the ancient poem "A Small Poem in a Mountain Village";

Original text:

At first glance, it is two or three miles away, and mist hangs over four or five families. The pavilions are six or seven, and the flowers bloom in eighty or ninety.

Translation:

Unconsciously, two or three miles away from home, there are four or five families in the light fog cage. There are six or seven pavilions on the roadside with eighty or ninety flowers.

Brief analysis:

Through the expression of brocade, this poem arranges the scenes of smoky villages, people's homes, pavilions and flowers together to form an idyllic scenery map, creating an elegant artistic conception and expressing the poet's love and praise for nature.

The phrase "one trip to two or three miles, four or five homes in the smoke village" is a linear visual impression. "One trip" means horizontal movement, "two or three" means a lot of empty fingers, and the smoke in the kitchen is vertical. The phrase "there are six or seven pavilions, eighty or ninety flowers" is transformed into a visual impression of a point: pavilions and seats, flowers.

In this poem, the poet arranges quantifiers for each sentence, which is novel and changeable, and also arranges two or three numbers in each sentence: at the beginning of the word "one", "two or three", "four or five" and "six or seven" are embedded in the sentence, and "eighty or ninety" returns to the beginning of the sentence. In the order of natural numbers, ten Chinese characters representing numbers from one to ten are combined with paths, smoke, villages and pavilions.

Coupled with the natural arrangement of poems and paintings, it takes only a few strokes to form a natural, simple and hazy mountain village landscape painting, which naturally blends into the artistic conception of the mountain village.
