The correct verse is "Once there was no water in the sea, except for Wushan, it was not clouds." It means: once I have experienced the vast sea, I feel that the water elsewhere pales in comparison; once I have experienced the mist of Wushan, I feel that there is no other place. The clouds were eclipsed.

Creative background
Yuan Zhen's five poems were all written in memory of his deceased wife Wei Cong, written in the fourth year of Yuanhe, Emperor Xianzong of the Tang Dynasty. (809). In the eighteenth year of Zhenyuan (802) of Tang Dezong's reign, Wei Cong married Yuan Zhen when he was 20 years old. Yuan Zhen had no fame at that time and suffered from poverty after the marriage.
But she didn't complain at all, and Yuan Zhen and her were deeply in love. Seven years later, Wei Cong died of illness. After Wei Cong's death, Yuan Zhen wrote many poems in mourning. This is one of the more famous poems.

Translation: Love admiring the remnants of makeup in the morning mirror, and the hairpins stuck in the hair. After a while, the rising sun shone on the rouged cheeks, as if a red flower was awakening, blooming, and about to melt away.
