Brief introduction of Yuelu Mountain scenic spot

1, Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area is the first batch of scenic spots announced in Hunan Province. Located on the bank of Xiangjiang River in the ancient city of Changsha, with a total area of 36 square kilometers, it consists of four scenic spots, namely Lushan Mountain, tianmashan, Taohualing and Shijialing, the former site of Xinmin Society and the second scenic spot of Shichengtou in Nanjin. Lushan Mountain Scenic Area is the essence of the whole area, covering an area of 6 square kilometers. Zi Shan, the quintessence of Hunan and Chu culture, is famous for its numerous places of interest, abundant plant resources, revolutionary martyrs' tombs, beautiful scenery and the integration of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Liu Yuxi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, was full of praise for his natural vigor. Yuelu Mountain Group is covered with green hills and towering old trees. There are 977 species of plants belonging to 174 families and 559 genera. Among them, Luo Hansong in Jin Dynasty, Ginkgo biloba in Tang Dynasty, Cinnamomum camphora in Song Dynasty and Maple Chestnut in Ming and Qing Dynasties are all thousand-year-old trees, vigorous and tall. Yuelu Academy, a thousand-year-old academy, is the crown of the four major academies in the Song Dynasty, and is also located in the mountains. The ancient Lushan Temple, known as "the first scene in Han and Wei Dynasties and the first scene in Hunan", is also located in the mountains. Taoism's 20-cloud Road Taoist Palace, a real land of virtual happiness, is also built on this top of the mountain. Love Evening Pavilion, one of the four famous pavilions in China, was built in the 57th year of Qing Qianlong, located in Qingfeng Gorge. It is a place with excellent scenery and a place where Comrade Mao Zedong engaged in revolutionary activities in his early years. Such as Baihequan, Wang Yu Monument, stupa, Feilai Stone, Zilai Bell, Chuanshipo, etc., are all distributed in the mountains and valleys.
