This poem was written by the author when he visited Qiushui Qingquan Temple in the spring of A.D. 1082 (the fifth year of Yuanfeng in Song Shenzong). At that time, Su Shi was demoted to be an assistant in Huangzhou (now Huanggang, Hubei) because of the Wutai Poetry Case. The whole poem is: the blue buds at the foot of the mountain are short immersed in the stream, the sand road between the pines is clean and muddy, and the rain cries at dusk. Who says life can't go back to adolescence? The water in front of the door can also flow west! Don't bemoan the passage of old age!
