Du fu's poems. . . . . . . . . Express their views on the war.

Take the poem Hope in Spring as an example.

Chang' an fell, the country was broken, and only the mountains and rivers remained; Spring has come, and the sparsely populated Chang' an city is densely forested. Sad state, can not help but burst into tears, amazing birds, leaving sorrow and hate.

The war lasted for more than half a year, and letters from home were rare, with a hundred thousand gold. Twisting with melancholy, scratching my head and thinking, the more I scratch my white hair, I can hardly insert a hairpin.

This poem was written in the second year of Zhide (AD 757). At that time, the poet was captured by the Anshi Rebellion, trapped in Chang 'an, and looked completely desolate. Seeing that the mountains and rivers are still broken, the country is ruined and the land is desolate in spring. At this time of homesickness in adversity, I can't help feeling deep sorrow and emotion. The poet set off his feelings with scenery and expressed his feelings of worrying about the country.
