Tracing back to the source, the word "flying flowers" comes from the sentence "Spring City flies all over" in the poem "Cold Food" written by Han Yi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The most basic flying flower poems must contain the word "flower" and have strict requirements on the position where the word "flower" appears. These poems can be recited by predecessors or sung live. One by one, when people can't write or recite poems, or write or recite them wrongly, drinkers order them to drink.
For example: bloom can be folded straight, and the first word is flower; Falling flowers are independent, and the word is flowers; Petals shed like tears, the third word is flower ... and so on.
In addition, there is a sorting method: when arranging flying flowers, the first word in the poem is "flower", that is, the first person drinks in a certain order. For example, there is a description in Ba Jin's "Home": "Shu Ying said that' when the flowers fall, you will be a gentleman', and Shu Hua below should eat wine."

Alcoholic beverages have a long history. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, there were so-called "feasting and singing poems" and "impromptu songs". The pot-throwing game transformed from shooting ceremony is actually a kind of drinkers' wager game. The resulting "throwing pot order" continued until the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
During the Qin and Han dynasties, following the legacy of predecessors, scholars also added sentences to the dinner table, named "impromptu singing", which has been in use for a long time, resulting in the wine order. The word "wine order" first appeared in the Biography of Jia Kui in the later Han Dynasty: "(Jia Kui) has nine poems, including Fu, Ode, Julian and wine order." The wine order mentioned here is the order of the order.
