Where is Xiguan?

Xiguan, the old name of Liwan District in Guangzhou, is the general name of the area outside the west gate of Guangzhou under the jurisdiction of Nanhai County in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Xiguan is only the urban-rural junction outside Guangzhou in the early Qing Dynasty. At that time, Litchi Bay and Pantang in the western suburbs were still water towns.
