This poem was popular for a while, and many people tattooed it on the screen and ladle, saying that it was "floating in the world and neglected the screen wall" and "Leng Xia is hot in winter, which cannot be eliminated". At that time, people called Wei Zhuang "a man of Yin", and his Song of Eternal Sorrow with Bai Juyi was also a much-told story.

Wei Zhuang wrote in his poem that "the inner warehouse was burnt into splendid ashes, and the sky street stepped on the noble bones", which aroused the dissatisfaction of Tang Gongqing's nobles. Wei Zhuang also tried his best to get back the original, and in Family Instructions, he specifically told his family not to hang up his son. Ivy edited a book of poems for him, but he didn't edit the poem. This poem was once lost in the Song Dynasty. In the 26th year of Guangxu (1900), a great number of ancient manuscripts were discovered by Stein, an Englishman, and Boxio, a Frenchman, in the stone chamber of Mingsha Mountain in the southeast of Dunhuang County, Gansu Province, among which Yin wrote them, the earliest of which was written by Zhang Gui in the 5th year of Tang Tianfu (905, the 2nd year of Ai Di) and in the 5th year (96544). 1936, Chen Yinque published Reading Songs. 1940, Wei Zhuang's Fu Qin Yin Zhu was published. 1950, he wrote Yin Jiu Textbook Revision.
