What English does the story of fox and crow tell us?

There is a big tree in the forest, and a crow lives in it. There is a cave under the tree, and a fox lives in it. One day, the crow got a piece of meat, stood on a tree and was seen by the fox. The fox drooled greedily and really wanted to get the meat from the crow. But the fox can't climb trees, so the sly fox turns his eyes and says, "Hello, dear crow", but the crow doesn't answer. The fox wagged his tail and added, "Dear crow, your voice is very good. Everyone likes to hear you sing. How many songs can you sing?" The crow is very proud and sings happily. As soon as I opened my mouth, the meat fell out of my mouth. The fox took the meat and went down, leaving only the angry crow in the tree.
