Because it spans Zongyang, Lujiang and Wuwei counties, it is publicly owned by the three places, so it is named Sangong Mountain. Although this statement is widely circulated, it is not recognized by the Ministry of Natural Resources of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Anhui Provincial Department of Natural Resources. The surveying and mapping sign they erected on the top of this mountain says Sanguan Mountain. Sangong Mountain is located at the junction of Zongyang, Lujiang and Wuwei counties. The distance between the three peaks is less than one Li, because the heads are all facing east.
The main peak of Sangong Mountain is said to be in Kunshan, and it is said to be in Lushi Village of Qianpu Town, with an altitude of 675 meters. Yang Jie, a famous inaction poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, left a poem that three peaks were locked by white clouds. Xing Kuan, the inaction champion in Ming Dynasty, and Fang Bao and Yao Nai, the representatives of Tongcheng School in Qing Dynasty, all praised the beautiful scenery of Sangong Mountain.
Main mountain peak
Sangong Mountain has three peaks: North Peak, Middle Peak and South Peak, and South Peak is the Dragon King's Tip. The dragon king's tip is a dangerous peak, and the grotesque rocks are unattainable. Zhongfeng has a unique shape and looks different from different angles. The north peak is like a camel, facing the east and standing upright. On Sangong Mountain, the bamboo forest is endless, green and deep, so it has the name of ten thousand mu of bamboo sea.
On the sunny hillside, a piece of tea garden is rich in cloud tea from Sangong Mountain, with a fragrant smell and a long aftertaste. In the bamboo sea and tea garden, there are dozens of reservoirs, large and small, among which Lixin Reservoir has clear water quality and mirror-like water surface, which is particularly beautiful. Sangong Mountain has not only beautiful natural scenery, but also profound cultural heritage. This folklore has a long history. There are ancient alum mines in the north peak, as well as blacksmith caves that specialize in making mining tools.
