From Xin Qiji's Three Hundred Miles in Wuling Spring in Song Dynasty
Walk 300 miles, five days for a period. I was still in doubt when I came back on the 6 th. It should be a long time.
Whip the horse home, you will be late if you are impatient. I can't help being annoyed with magpies. Report to that person first.
Precautions:
① Wulingchun: The name of the epigraph, also known as "Wulingchun", is also quoted from He Zhu's words in Li Bai's Qingpingdiao, which is also called "flowers want to make beauty" and a two-tone poem. Mao Que Ci is the main body, with two tones and forty-eight characters, four strokes up and down, and three levels of rhyme.
② Two sentences of "five days": The Book of Songs Picking Green: "Five days are endless, but six days are not obvious."
3 "inevitable" sentence: the ancients had a legend that magpies reported good news.
The translation is as follows:
It's three hundred miles to come and three hundred miles to go, and the fifth day is the day of returning home. If I go home on the 6th, my family will be anxious, suspicious and think that I have been wandering around the house for a long time.
Whipping the horse and rushing home, I always feel anxious that the horse is running late. I occasionally look up and see magpies. I'll ask you one thing: I'll fly home first and send a message to my man.
Make an appreciative comment
In the first film, he told himself among travelers. At the first two moments, he recalled that when he left home, he and his wife agreed to come back five days later. Because "going" and "coming" are only three hundred miles away, and when he left home, he couldn't help himself. Now that six days have passed, he expects that his family will be suspicious and will stand outside the door and stare: "It should be a long time." The first four sentences express a common feeling in plain language. The sentence "should" is written from the other side, which looks normal from the other side, but at the same time it expresses the feeling of missing family and expecting their loved ones to return. It's killing two birds with one stone.
The next movie is about anxious to return, a vagrant. On the way back, despite the constant whipping, he still felt that the horse was walking too slowly. Whip a horse and go home. It is reasonable for a horse to run fast. But he is impatient, so he thinks the horse is late. A "rush" and a "late" set each other off. Words are common and have rich meanings. Suddenly, I heard the magpie chirping on the branches of the roadside, and I swam by with a brainwave, which gave me a beautiful idea: "If you can't help worrying about magpie, report it to that person first." Long-term folklore regards magpie as a bird that gives good news, which appears repeatedly in Dunhuang blind words, such as Boy's Basket: "Magpie likes to be in front of the court. You are in the expedition network outside the Great Wall. " It is said that magpies will bring good news to those who leave. The hero of this word holds a simple wish, that is, the magpie flies home first. To. "Report a message. In this way, this magpie has become a medium to communicate the thoughts and feelings of the wanderer, interweaving and unifying the wanderer's desire and eager hope to return home.
This word fully embodies the popular and fresh artistic style of Xin Ci. It does not use historical allusions, nor does it have a hungry and vigorous voice. Instead, it uses simple, fresh and easy-to-understand language and self-description to describe homesickness to the fullest. Simple and sincere feelings, healthy and fresh style. The two "er" in the word, one in the sentence and the other at the end of the sentence, are both folk spoken words at that time and are rich in folk songs.
