The full text is as follows:

Far away has nothing but far away.

Distant highland barley land

Only highland barley

The farther away, the more lonely.

Far away, nothing but far away.

Then the stone.

Fly to me

Calculus bleeding

Stones grow from Seven Sisters.

Standing on the barren grassland

I was far away at that time.

I was free and poor then.

These untouchable sisters

This untouchable blood

These unattainable happiness.

How painful is happiness in the distance?

1, source:

The original sentence is from Haizi's poem Far Away.

Far away is a poem about youth's long journey, and it is also a poem about youth's pursuit of dreams.

2. Haizi:

Haizi, formerly known as Lai Haisheng, was born on March 24th, 1964. He was born in Laiwan, Gaohe Town, Huaining County, Anqing City, Anhui Province, and grew up in the countryside.

1979 15 years old, admitted to Peking University Law School to study law, and began to write poems during his college years.

1983 after graduation, Peking University was assigned to work in the philosophy teaching and research section of China University of Political Science and Law.

1On March 26th, 989, he committed suicide in Shanhaiguan, at the age of 25.

In the poet's short life, he kept a holy heart. He was not understood by the world for a long time, but he was a poet who tried his best to impact the limits of literature and life in the history of China's new literature in the 1980s. Haizi is a poetic prodigal son with wandering feelings. His youthful footsteps never stopped pursuing the distance, leaving many famous sentences describing the distance in his short life.

3. Writing background:

Far away, written in his trip to Tibet in August, 1988, expressed the poet's spiritual contradiction and pain.

Haizi yearned for the distance all his life, and the distance was one of the themes he repeatedly sang. But this poem contains the author's pain, persistence, helplessness and determination, which can't be explained clearly in a few words.

4. Appreciate:

The poem "Far Away" describes what the author really saw and thought after reaching the "far away" he once dreamed of, and the technique is the combination of reality and reality.

First of all, the author saw a "distant" highland barley land with nothing in Tibet. This is real writing, which shows the ruthlessness of reality and the loneliness of self.

Then I saw the "solitary stone" in the "distance", which was empty words. The bleeding of the stone indicates that this lonely stone for thousands of years is full of vitality. This stone even gave birth to Seven Sisters, where women symbolize happiness.

But those vivid lives, colorful lives or hearts are beyond the reach of the author, because the author is a person living in reality, and the "distance" in reality is nothing. These beauties can only be felt by the soul. The author vividly described "happiness in the distance", which basically showed that he really felt happiness in the distance, but at the same time, the author was poor and lonely, and suffered many other pains on his way to towards the distant.

Therefore, the author thinks that "happiness in the distance" is also a lot of pain.
