You asked me the date when I will go home, but I haven't set the date yet; It's raining heavily in Bashan tonight, and the rain is rising all over the autumn pool. When you and I get together again, * * * cut the candle flowers in the west window and talk all night; I'll tell you about the autumn rain tonight, my painful feelings.
Note: If the candle burns for a long time, it will cause the phenomenon of candle burning, that is, the flame will jump, and the candle core must be cut short to keep the candle seedlings still.
This is Li Shangyin's well-known lyric short chapter, which was written by the poet to his wife in Chang 'an, far away in the north. At that time, the poet was blocked by the autumn rain and stayed in Jingba area. His wife sent a letter from home asking about the return date. However, due to the continuous autumn rain and traffic interruption, it is impossible to determine, so I replied: Jun asked that the return date was not fixed. This sentence has questions and answers, ups and downs, revealing the poet's worries about staying in a foreign land and returning to an uncertain date. The poet and his wife, Mr. Wang, are deeply attached to each other, always looking forward to returning to their hometown as soon as possible, sitting under the west window with his wife, cutting off the candlelight and talking late at night.
