First of all, let's appreciate the poem "Ascending the Mountain" written by Du Fu, who has been promoted to the first place in history. The whole poem goes like this:
Climb the peak
[Tang] Du Fu
The wind is fast and high, the ape cries sadly, and the birds are circling in the white sand.
The endless trees are rustling leaves, and the Yangtze River is rolling unpredictably.
Li in the sad autumn scenery, a wanderer all the year round, lives alone on the high platform in today's illness.
After all the hardships and hatred, the white hair is full, and the wine glasses are damaged.
This poem was written by Du Fu, an old and sickly man, who climbed the high platform to watch the scenery and touched the scene. The biggest feature of the whole poem is that the antithesis is neat, and the eight sentences are paired, which is typical of Lao Du style. Among them, the couplet "Leaves fall like the waves of a waterfall, and I watch the long river always roll forward" is full of praise, but the couplet at the end is a little out of breath and a little regrettable. Generally speaking, this poem by Du Fu is a masterpiece of the Seven Laws of the past dynasties, but it is not too much to elevate it to the first place in the ages. I think it's at least as good as Du Fu's climbing the mountain to have the Sanqi Law.
The first poem was the Yellow Crane Tower, which impressed the poet Li Bai deeply. This poem was written by a little-known poet, Cui Hao. It is said that Li Bai wanted to write a poem when he boarded the Yellow Crane Tower, but when he looked up, it said the Yellow Crane Tower in Cui Hao, which impressed him deeply. Li Bai felt that he couldn't write a better work than Cui Hao, so he simply threw away his pen. Many ancient people praised Cui Hao's Yellow Crane Tower as the highest rhyme. Let's look at this poem:
Yellow Crane Tower
[Tang] Cui Hao
The fairy of the past has flown away by the yellow crane, leaving only an empty Yellow Crane Tower.
The yellow crane never revisited earth, there have been no long white clouds for thousands of years.
Every tree in Hanyang has become clear due to sunlight, and Nautilus Island is covered with sweet grass.
But I looked home, and the twilight was getting thicker. The river is shrouded in mist, which brings people deep melancholy.
This poem is a masterpiece of homesickness. When the poet boarded the Yellow Crane Tower, he was so excited that he blurted out the whole poem in one breath, which was worthy of being a masterpiece among masterpieces and impressed all poets.
The second is Shen Quanqi's Loneliness. Although Shen Quanqi's fame is far less than that of Li Bai and Du Fu, he was also a great poet before the prosperous Tang Dynasty. His whole poem "Loneliness" is as follows:
alone
[Tang] Shen Quanqi
Yu Jintang, a young woman from Lujia, couples of swallows perched on the hawksbill beam.
Hearing the cold beat of the washing mallet shake the leaves, Liaoyang expedition will go for ten years.
And the news was lost in the White Wolf River. The autumn night in Red Phoenix here is long.
Who knows sadness, only seeing moonlight on her loom.
Shen Quanqi borrowed the ancient Yuefu poem "Dugu", but it is not Yuefu poetry, but a standard seven-tone poem. The hero of this poem is a young woman who lives in a magnificent house in Chang 'an. What she "didn't expect" was that her husband went to the Liaoyang border to fight and didn't come home for ten years. The poet described the lonely and sad scene of the young woman in the Furama house on autumn night. The leaves were rustling and the cold anvil was everywhere, but her heart was galloping for thousands of miles, missing her husband, tossing and turning, and she couldn't sleep at night. Although this poem is set in a boudoir, it has a wide and far-reaching artistic conception and extraordinary momentum. Often rated as the first of the seven laws by the ancients!
The third poem is the seven-tone "Jinse" by Li Shangyin, a lover of the Tang Dynasty. Everyone is familiar with this poem, and the sentence "With a moment that should last forever, it came and went unconsciously" touched many people's heartstrings.
Inlaid harp
Li shangyin
I want to know why my Jinse has fifty strings, and each string has a youthful interval.
Zhuangzi daydreaming, a saint, was bewitched by butterflies, and cuckoo crowed in the imperial spring.
Mermaids shed pearl-like tears on the moon-green sea, and the blue fields breathed their jade to the sun.
A moment that should last forever has come and gone before I know it.
This poem is a memoir written by Li Shangyin in his later years. Although the whole poem is obscure, since the Song Dynasty, people from all walks of life have speculated and failed to agree, but it has been recited by people, and it is one of the best masterpieces in the Seven Laws.
These three seven laws are not inferior to Du Fu's Ascending the Mountain, so other poets say that Ascending the Mountain is the first of the seven laws throughout the ages, which is too small. Since ancient times, there has been no first in literature and no second in martial arts. It is undeniable that Du Fu is great, and it is also undeniable that climbing is the top masterpiece in the Seven Laws, but it is not too much to say that it is the first in the ages!
