Oscar Wilde (185410/0/October16-1900101October 30th) is from Ireland. His works have been widely echoed after the performance in the theater, and are as famous as Bernard Shaw in the19th century. His plays, poems and novels left many idioms for later generations, such as "Living happily is the best revenge". Wilde is full of extraordinary confidence and talent. Although he was poor in his later years, his artistic achievements still made him a world classic artist. He wrote nine fairy tales, which were included in two collections: Happy Prince and Other Stories and Pomegranate House. 1895 On May 25th, the British writer Oscar Wilde was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for "having immoral behavior with other men". 1900 Wilde died of meningitis in a Paris hotel at the age of 46. 1909, Wilde's body was moved to Father Lachez National Cemetery and has been buried there ever since.
