Du Fu, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty (AD 7 12-770), was born in a cave at the foot of Bijia Mountain, a cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province. Du Fu, with beautiful words, was originally from Xiangyang, Hubei. His great-grandfather moved his family here when he was a county magistrate in Gong County.
