Appreciation of Four New Bamboo Shoots in Changgu North Garden

one

This is a poem that sings ambition by borrowing things. The poet described the new bamboo shoots beautifully. The bamboo shell is peeled off one by one, and the bamboo shoots grow on the nodes. Crystal clear, like a jasper just carved with a meat cleaver. The image of bamboo shoots here is an idealized and poetic image of the poet. It is clean as jade, full of vitality, strong and straight; It must break free from the shackles of the shell and grow upward. Because this bamboo shoot has such a beautiful posture, the praise of "mother bamboo shoot is a dragon material" did not make people feel abrupt, but naturally came.

If the first two sentences mainly talk about the external beauty of bamboo shoots, then the last two sentences are to inherit the growth desire of bamboo shoots and further describe the internal beauty of bamboo shoots. The word "more tolerant" has a profound meaning. If allowed, it is a hypothetical word. The meaning of these two sentences is that if it is allowed to grow fully, the jointing stage will be quite long overnight, and it will naturally take off dust and mud and go straight into the clouds. Here, it expresses Hsinchu's great ambition to soar into the sky, and it is not willing to be buried in the garden mud. This is the inner beauty of new bamboo shoots. In addition, the negative meaning of the word "more tolerant" is that it is "not allowed" now, and new bamboo shoots cannot be allowed to smoke in thousands of feet overnight, so it is impossible for them to rise from the ground to the top. The bread here contains deep bitterness. Complaining naturally comes from his inability to grow up to be satisfied. This meaning describes the rich "inner world" of Hsinchu from another angle.

The poet portrayed Hsinchu with such a beautiful image and beautiful heart, which is a tribute to ambition. This new bamboo shoot is the poet Li He. The poet Li He had many troubles, but he didn't lose his ambition. He has always hoped to reach the top of the world, and this quatrain of chanting bamboo shoots is a true portrayal of his mood.

Secondly,

The first two sentences of this object-chanting poem describe the scene of writing poems on bamboo, which is smooth and profound. The "green light" in the sentence refers to bamboo skin, and at the same time clearly shows the color of bamboo skin: "Songs of the South" refers to the songs and poems written by the author himself. The poet thought of Qu Yuan's experience from his own life experience, and here he implicitly expressed his depressed inner resentment through The Songs of the South. The first sentence is seven words, which have both actions and feelings, and the meaning is very rich. The second sentence uses the method of contrast and reflection: Hsinchu exudes a strong fragrance, and the bamboo joints are covered with white powder, which looks vibrant, beautiful and lovely; But where the poem was inscribed, the green peel peeled off and the ink dripped, which defiled the beautiful image of bamboo. Here, the poet skillfully expresses his inner resentment with the contradictory images of "greasy fragrant spring powder" and "black separation"

The last two sentences focused on expressing resentment. "Ruthless and hateful" seems to mean writing poems on bamboo. The poet damaged the beautiful face of Hsinchu, which can be said to be a kind of "ruthlessness", and this ruthlessness is caused by uncontrollable resentment in the repressed heart. In this regard, Yao has a wonderful comment: "Kill them and write grievances without good materials; There is no love outside, but there is repressed hatred inside. " (Notes on Hasegawa) The poet once boasted that he was a "dragon material", hoping that he could smoke thousands of feet at night like a new bamboo shoot and rise to the top of the world, but no one appreciated him, and he lived in a secluded village next to bamboo. I wrote poems on bamboo to dispel the resentment in my heart. However, whether it is ruthless or hateful, no one can see it, and no one knows. "Who is heartless and hateful?" Questions are used here, not statements, which makes poetry volatile. The last sentence implicitly answers the question raised in the previous sentence, with mild wording but full of emotion. It tries its best to depict the sad face of bamboo: smoke fills the air, which is difficult to distinguish, just like a sad beauty hiding her face and crying; Dew accumulated on bamboo branches and leaves dripped from time to time, just like undertaker's crying. On the surface, it seems to be writing about the sadness of bamboo, but in fact it is empathy with things, turning people's grievances into bamboo's grievances, thus creating a moving realm of blending things with me and scenes.

The whole poem uses the techniques of "comparison" and "xing", empathizing with things and expressing feelings through things. There is truth and falsehood, there is truth and falsehood, there is falsehood and falsehood, and the two are not parallel and have no clue, giving people a feeling of endless aftertaste.

third

This poem about bamboo is full of vitality. "There are two or three stems in the stone eye of Jiaquan. See the purple root monster." Originally, there were still two or three bamboos growing in the spring crevices of our courtyard, but when I got up in the morning and looked at the road outside the wall, bamboo roots had already grown. Purple Pulse is a purple stranger. Mozi usually refers to the roads in the suburbs of the imperial city. Li Bai's "Journey to the South" said: "The tall building is opposite to the purple stranger, and the younger brother is connected to the castle peak." Liu Yuxi's "Play Gifts to the Flowers-Watching Gentleman" says: "The purple world is full of red dust, and no one does not look at the flowers." Li He's hometown Fuchang County is in the suburb of Luoyang, the eastern capital of the Tang Dynasty, so its country road can be called Mozi. Bamboo whip is very fertile and can pass through cracks, walls and hard clods. There are "Family Spring" and "Purple Pulse" in the poem, which is the case. The bamboo whip has passed under the courtyard wall and grown out of the wall. The most vigorous season of bamboo whip growth is from midsummer to early autumn. Like bamboo shoots, the head of a bamboo whip often jumps out of the ground from the thin topsoil, quickly bends into an arch, and the head of the bamboo whip drills into the soil again. The poet's opposition to "Ersan Stems" and "Zimo" also shows the tenacity of bamboo, and humble bamboo branches with Ersan Stems soon grew on the passage outside the wall. Seeing this scene, it is not difficult to imagine: "This year, the flute is newly dialed on the spring sand." Although the scenes written in these two poems are not true, they have certain inevitability. The flute tube is a new material. "Jade Green" is a new color. Picturesque, like now.

Li was full of passion and confidence, but he died in the end. He is constantly tortured by hope and despair, and only through poetry can he realize his existence, so he writes with terrible passion. The poet's resentment is mainly manifested in his elaborate art and overlapping bedstead houses. In this poem, the author carefully chooses words and embellishes them with various combinations of images such as "home", "stone", "yin", "purple", "spring" and "new". Throughout the whole sentence, there is almost nothing unadorned and no gossip. He combined related images with words that were not commonly used by the ancients, modified and combined them, and comprehensively used the brushwork of synaesthesia and empathy. From Jiaquan to Shiyan to bamboo poles, it seemed that image group, who was connected in series with poems, was not poured out because of feelings, but carved by words. At this time, the bamboo in the author's poem is no longer a simple and elegant man, but seems to be a dancer wearing beautiful and peculiar Chu clothes with exotic customs. At the same time, it is more obvious that the author's ingenuity and polishing work are combined with images that are not commonly used in bamboo slips, such as stone eyes and yin roots.

Fourth.

This poem is a metaphor for Sima Xiangru's return to Maoling and laments his poor life at home in Changgu. The first two sentences of the poem "Old bamboo shoots provoke Yun Lan, Maoling lies and sighs for poverty", which means that although old bamboo is still tall and straight, its bamboo shoots can brush clouds, but he is not old, but he can only be as poor as Sima Xiangru who lives in Maoling. "Ancient bamboo" is a relatively new kind of bamboo shoot. Return to sleep in Maoling, Biography of Historical Records and Sima Xiangru: "If you live in Maoling without illness." Sima Xiangru used to be a dutiful son, but he was removed from his post due to illness. He lives in Maoling, and the poet himself is frustrated at home and down and out. "Lamenting poverty" is not found in historical records, but it is a vivid portrayal of the poet's own situation. Although Li He is a descendant of the Tang royal family, he has only been a small official like Feng in his life. Even because of his father's name, even the Jinshi was not admitted. Like Li Shangyin, he also "failed to make great achievements, and he was never open-minded throughout his life". After resigning from his post and living at home, he lived a poor life and even died of poverty due to illness two years later. The word "sigh" is very emotional. "The wind blows a thousand acres to meet the rain, and the bird weighs a bottle." These two sentences are about two other forms of bamboo image. One is the wind and rain. "Rain whistling" is not the sound of rain, but the sound of the wind blowing bamboo, as if it were raining. This is a phenomenon that only exists in large bamboo forests. The old bamboo leaves are hard and stiff, colliding with each other, and their voices are crisp. Bamboo leaves can also be made into leaf flutes, which are loud and pleasant to play. Thousands of acres of bamboo, its scenery charm is different from the bamboo with "two or three stems in the family spring and stone eyes", and the sound after the wind blows is like an avalanche; On a sunny day, a bird perches on a branch, but its scenery can be reflected in a wine bottle. How quiet and carefree. As far as bamboo itself is concerned, this scene shows one of its characteristics: tenacity, no matter how bent, it is not easy to break. "Bright is easy to stain, beautiful is easy to break", but bamboo branches are not. It is a wind knife and frost sword that is firm, tenacious and fearless in the cold winter, and it is also called "three friends in the cold" with pine and cypress.

Zheng Banqiao, a great painter in the Qing Dynasty, once exaggeratedly said, "Living without bamboo is better than eating without meat." Throughout the ages, there are many poets and painters who love, chant and paint bamboo, and this group of poems is also the best among many masterpieces of chanting bamboo.
